    Wow, you made a 1/72 model with the same detail as a 1/48 model. That is some skill you have.

  • @cjthemaritimecraftsman879

    I'm having many Zero fighters here, but all are made of paper and cardboard. The A6M5 Zero is my most favorite aircraft ever 😅

    woah this looks nice! I work on models myself but I don’t use airbrush, do you have any tips on how to paint on a paint brush good?

    • @KumaModels
      @KumaModels  Před 2 lety

      Thank you very much! For painting by hand I would recommend thinning the paint very well and applying it in very thin layers. I think Tamiya paints are hard to hand brush and would recommend using Vallejo for your first try. A great tool to have as well is a wet pallet to keep your paints usable for long painting sessions.

    • @KumaModels
      @KumaModels  Před 4 lety +1

      Thank you very much! I like using cotton swabs. I make sure the swab is wet so it doesn't rip the decal while I move it.

    Hello! I love your build of A6M5! I have question. Do you used gloss cloat from Tamiya X-35 semi gloss? How much solvent do you used? 1:1? or more?

    • @KumaModels
      @KumaModels  Před 3 lety

      Thank you very much! I don't use X-35 but I use Tamiya X-22 Clear for my gloss coat. I think the ratio would still be the same, I use a ratio of 2:1 (Thinner : Paint). I apply 1 thin layer, let it dry then apply another thin layer. Also, I suggest using "Mr. Color Leveling Thinner" as your thinner.
