two things...WPA 3 point break rule says that if it is a non compliant break your opponent may accept the table as is or may rerack and break, but cannot push out. Earl's commentary is great. It's like he's teaching a class. I love it! It's very instructive.

good commentary, but one other improvement, add clearer lines to the table, so we can see where the home line is, to refference the Left-back, etc, terms used to describe ball positions. ( strickland, perhaps even, like the snooker matches, add some "chalk lines" to the over-head shots, describing where the que ball is heading).
I've found a new side of Earl, I actually think his comments are quite fun and relaxed. My bad, but I have always thought he was the exact opposite ...

Just because you dont know what the players are going to do doesnt mean you dont know what you're talking about or that the players are shooting wrong.
It means you're not psychic.
I'll be glad when or if we get past trying to guess what the players are going to do..

Pool question for anybody that might be able to help me. Is it okay to look at the Cue ball last before shooting instead of the object ball. Ive always looked at the object ball past but i expirimented with cue ball last and shot wayyyy better.
There are top players who do it both ways. Object ball last is most common. Alex Pagulyan once said "wherever my eye wants to look, that is where I look. I like to look at the object ball last but if I need another look at the cue ball I take it. I am an amateur so take that for what it may be worth.
I recall a recent video on that topic and the person asked a few of the current pros in pool and snooker. About 80% look at the OB last and 20% look at the CB last.

Dont think the break rule is supposed to be a penalty.. it's just to keep people from getting the opportunity to pocket a ball and get an easy run, so the opponent gets to choose if they want the table or not...
