I'm Polish and I just want to thank you for visiting my country and respecting people who lost their lives in Auschwitz. You're a great CZcamsr, Dan
My family has someone that died in ashwits
@@Cid657 sad😢
Suree your polish and then why are you speaking English 😂
@@hester3249 I think everybody in this comments section is speaking English, so why shouldn't I? Besides, if I wrote my comment in Polish, fewer people would understand it, so yeah, that's why I'm speaking English
@@hester3249 I am from Israel
Finally a CZcamsr who actually has respect for the people who died at Auschwitz. I went to camp Westerbork, which is a way less extreme version of Auschwitz. People were forced to work there but it was less extreme and they would actually still get some free time and enough food. But eventually they were send to Auschwitz and other concentration camps. I went there for school, and there wasn’t much left of it, but parts still remained. Nobody was killed there. But there was another one of those train carts, which said the name of people who got send to Auschwitz out loud.
I also hope nothing like this will ever happen again, and it’s beautiful how people on social media can have respect.
Thank you all for watching.
Hey Dan pls make more shorts of 3.vs.3 marvel
Hi
Please make more countrys murder mystery
❤
Do a Star Wars murder mystery
I’m Polish and I am so happy that one of my many favorite youtubers visited Poland for once and ACTUALLY respected people who died there only because of religion. Love your videos keep up the good❤
I'm Jewish. Thank you for showing this, so everyone can remember what happened back there. Really horrible and horrifying 😢
me too
:(
Same man, my great grandfather was a survivor of the holocaust.
🇵🇸
I’m Polish, bless you, and your ancestors that died in ww2, they didn’t deserve it..❤
this isn’t a video I’d expect but it’s just absurd on what humans do to eachother
Im from Poland and I just want to thank you to promote history of Poland❤

I am German and that’s so hard looking at what great ancestors did it almost made me cry 😭
My great grandfather was so horrified at what Hitler was doing at the time that he wanted to divide himself from his German side which later on(along with hiding Jews) led him to nearly get sent to a concentration camp
I'm polish and I forgive you
I watched this with a heavy heart! Can't believe how scared these people are in this place. I am grateful to live in peace now
I visited Auschwitz about 3 weeks before you did. My relatives met their fate there during the Holocaust and only several survived. Thank you for sharing. Warm regards from Israel.
I as a german am here to apologize for the unforgivable crimes we comitted in WW2.
You don’t have to apologize for something that happened and finished before you were born.
You don’t need to apologize, it’s not ur fault
Don’t apologize hi*ler did it not you
I forgive you plus it’s not your fault
Thank you, young man. You showed respect and presented
The story is the best way you can. There's not enough words to describe this cruelty from another human being. Thank you for sharing 😢
My dad visited the Dachau camp in the 80's when he was in the Army and said it was the most heavy and most despair he felt in his life and he just wanted to leave and cry. Also said he felt like shit for a while after leaving, like the dark cloud of terror that happened there just stayed with him. He recommended that everyone who can, should visit. Never forget what happened, learn from it.
My grandmother and her sister.... the only two of their 5 people familiy who survived auschwitz. I heard so many stories from my grandmother.... and i will never forget the one about her mother and little brother going into the gas chambers. Thank you for this video.
😢
This young man gets it , he was very respectful full in his telling and not recording or talking while in the different buildings. I saw a different video where the narrator explains how you should behave when u visit that place and and that some people think that place is joke which is it not. This young man was very respectful of the countless people who lost their lives in that place, where their only crime was the people were Jewish or other groups the Nazi's deemed that they were worthless and shouldn't be allowed to live.
I am jewish and I want to thank you for going!
As I lost a lot of family in auschwitz.
Me too, brother. ❤️ rest in peace to your family
me too
@@yonaraanan Thank You The Neshamos Should go straight to Gan eden
me too. Love u bro❤ sorry for your loss. I also lost my grandpa❤
Me too... they may all rest in peace. Never forget
Hi Dan having visited Austwitz myself this video bought back so many memories unless you visit for yourself you cannot imagine the horrific things that happened there. Mankind at his worst, thanks for sharing I'm also from Luton 👍
Watching the videos versus being there and feeling the energy is incomparable. I visited last month. Incredibly humbling experience
I'm Israeli and want to visit. But I can't even watch this without losing it. How my heart aches.
Me too. I nearly broke down at the museum. I don’t think i could step foot in any concentration camp.
Very humbling experience. Thank you for a great video mr Dan Woolley
As a Jew I'm crying here, I still get hate for being Jewish, I've seen people laughing about it and I've seen people say it didn't happen (like Kanye West for example) Thank you for showing the world what happened to my person, and to the Polish people, it's sad everything that happened there thank you❤💔😓
“how could you be so heartless..”
@@TheBeastOfDachau Not everything related to Jews, or Israel or Zionism is also related to Palestine
It's like not everything related to Ukraine is also related to Russia!
Besides, Palestine is the one who chose the war, it is not our fault that she lost against us
@@TheBeastOfDachauwhat is Palestine, i see a lot of comment free Palestine like it's a product or colonised country? But on google it shows a "state" and Israel a country
I’m Polish, bless you, and your ancestors that died in ww2, they didn’t deserve it..❤ Don’t listen to people like Kanye West, they are just out their minds and dumb idiots that don’t respect others..❤
*hugs*
My mom's side of the family would smuggle people away from these monsters. It is absolutely horrifying to put myself in their shoes. Only thing I can describe it is dead man walking. I'm learning about this in english and it really opened my eye to this. A tragedy.
How very brave and thoughtful it was of you to go there, the main reason these places still stand is so what happened there will never be forgotten and the knowledge of what can happen when power and evil takes over. Beware evil politicians and dont think for one moment this couldnt happen again, when our military leaders started getting stories of these places they initially thought they were exaggerated - but when our military started liberating the camps and seeinjg for themselves and sending pictures our own government was stunned
You are really one of my favorite CZcamsrs Dan, really it's always makes me feel joy by watching your videos, BTW I am from India.
But this one really horrific, I can't even imagine , what the innocent people might have gone through. Really liked this video BTW.
Basically, thousands of people arrived DAILY, 80% of which were killed in the gas chambers straight away, all of them summed had the possibility to kill 5k human lives daily, and the rest 20% were forced to work, witl little to no food daily, and dirty clothes full of bugs. They also worked in the camps, throwing the gassed people in those giant furnaces. To learn more, you can come there, if you have the nerves.
I’m a bit polish and ty for visiting Poland, also ty for respecting the people who lost there lives and visiting auschwitz
Good review. Well done for being so respectful.
Sorry, I didn't mean to say review. Wrong word.
My great grandfather ended up in Auschwitz and almost died of hunger. I thank you your tour.
I am Jewish, A lot of my ancestors died here, Thanks for the respect.
Can we just take moment to the innocent people who died for nothing?

Magnificent content really touched me.
Feel so bad for these innocent people

And yet still now russians are doing similar things
Much respect, love, compassion and kindness to the poor human beings murdered there, and also to Dan and everyone who will read this comment…
I just did a big hug for all of the victims, including the survivors and those that died…
😞 😔 😢
It's one of the last remaining ones built by the Germans
Incase you were wondering where the massive train tracks went,They went from Strotenburg,Belgium (correct me if im wrong)to Auschwitz
Im going in November. I cant say im looking forward it, because of the sad history behind it. However i feel it’s necessary, especially in todays climate. But i am really looking forward to visiting the country itself.
Im going on Monday 22 May 2023 - I cant say its something Im looking forward to, more something I need to do. Thanks for your video Dan
This is something I hope never happens again, how could one person command all those people to just die like that. It's awful.
Unfortunately it never stopped 😬 it is still very prominent on a global scale - North Korea, China, Myanmar, even some European countries still continue these hellish activities
Also this has happened to hundreds of billions of poor animals we humans massacre Inhumanely every day all over the world - every country is guilty of this
@@LGSNBComparing slaughterhouses to concentration camps is purely awful. Animals are most of the time killed humanely
@@smalliebigs101 Thinking me speaking the truth is awful, is awful 🤦♂️
Re read what I said and understand what I said. The key word being ‘inhumanely’. You may think that the majority of animals on the planet are being killed ‘humanely’, but data and facts say different, if you’d care to do the research.
And even so, we throw away tons of meat anyway we have no need to produce the amount produced of even ethically sourced meat and animals.
@@smalliebigs101 Also try care about the animals and humans experiencing this more than the manner in which I am speaking the truth; ur whole argument is flawed even tho I’m pretty sure you misunderstood what I was saying.
Very respectful young lad, Im Irish and visited here with my wife 1 month ago. Fair play to the British and some Irishmen who fought in WW2 to defeat the nazis.
Hey Dan i am not so very polish but I am from there and I Just wanted to thank u for visitingmy country since so many pepole have Wonder what happend in poland under ww2
I heard that Auschwitz is the most visited place in Poland. Quite sad
I bet that place is haunted big time.
Where did you buy your tickets ? Was transpiration included in your tickets ?
You are really brave the places are terrifying 😢
Welcome to Poland ✨
Maybe this isnt the day to upload such a sad and serious thing
It's so emotional 😭
I just can’t wrap my head around how or what’s compelled such a human being to do such horrific thing with massive amounts of Murders and how his army pushed through with such a plan and how he had supporters, like how could others support this? Scary how this could even happen , wonder if this sort of event could happen again in present day.
Love your videos
I was just there during school break in November I’ve been to Poland about 7 times
I am Polish and i know about that. About 83 years ago 13 members of my family got killed there. I mean, the grandpas and grandads.
I’m part polish and I feel like it is such a terrible thing that one person orchestrated.

Dan thanks for being respectful to our polish country and not being all" WOW OMG@!!!!!!! WOAH"
I’m mixed I am part German and I wanna literally cry bcz of what my ancestors did, its horrible.
It’s an unimaginable time in history 😢
Amazing content Dan , so tastefully done which respect and humility ❤
I wonder if it’s still operational to full capacity, like from a historically curious perspective.
My grandfather' was a Sargent major in the polish army in ww2 and was caught by the Germans and was badly tortured i don't know if he was in the camps but he managed to escape to Britain He was naturally badly affected by the experience which stayed with him until he passed away in 1972😢
That place is like a graveyard i feel so so bad for them
Of you do something like this again then go to Bosnia either Sarajevo or Srebrenica
I went there once and ive never been th3 same...every9ne should go at least once

I didn’t know you made long videos
Here before the notification came out
As an German, I am very sorry for what the German government in the 1940’a did.
Sincerely, Little old me
It isnt current Germans fault anyways, its the ancestors that committed such crimes and allowed it. Its crazy when higher ups allowed this during the 1940s.
As Hindu from India 🇮🇳 who's Ancestors suffered the same from Islamic Invasions & from Colonial rule in past 1000s years I stand With my Jewish brothers ✡️✡️❤️🕉️🕉️
Im amazed you were respectful and not like some people who record auschwitz and do tiktok dances

Makes me so angry how all of that could be allowed to take place. I don’t know if humanity is moving in the right direction these days. But this should be a stark reminder that we need to do better and we need to do our part to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
This is what happens when a evil person is put in power
