I mean, some people probably need this but i personally don't have ANY problems with armour spheres. Just get 6 investigations (like kill 2 master rank elder dragons) and you should be set for armour spheres ( i recommend the red once since they are for slaying/ capturing mostly big monsters)
If you like to explore different armors and upgrade them to max, you can very quickly and easily run out of them I’ve found! Bounties alone don’t even nearly cover it. Farming some of this stuff really builds up your reserves
Farewell to Zinogre is definitely the best way to farm many things including armor spheres
@@sempergumby2341 This. You get money, armor spheres, gourmet ticket, celestial ticket and explosive barrels.
Do it x1 without festival for the celestial tickets, or x10 and try your luck with red combo for celestial tickets x10.
Do it x10 for money through getting golden egg during festival.
Do it more than 1 time a day with x1 to get king armor spheres on each full meter.
Use all the steam tickets as currency at grandma alchemist, for easy mega demon drug etc.
It's just that good.

Investigations are even worse.
For the Mosswinin’ and Dinin’ event they are really prone to paralysis. I read they are prone to flash pods but I don’t employ that tactic currently.
I like to use a bow will paralysis ammo since it allows you to keep your distance and keep an eye on the other four without getting tunnel visioned. You can carry 20 paralysis ammo into the event and it takes two of that ammo to paralyze one. You can kill each after two rounds of paralysis if you were able to DPS for the full duration of the paralysis. You should have more than enough ammo to complete the event if you are diligent about swapping your ammo out once it is paralyzed to do the DPS.

1 tip for the zinogre and bruto tigrex quest , if you sever their tail its a garanted true armor sfere or giant coal piece , dependimg on the quest you are doing

With mosswinin' and dinin' if you want to make it piss easy use a girros hammer (paralysis) and slugger for more knockout, they basically will be stun locked the entire time you are hitting them.
I always take Hammer for it haha

I been farming Day of Ruin the 6* for some good 3-6 sealed feystone deco, just remember to bring fire resist so you dont die to hard from fire

All these years of this game being out and I never knew you could mine an uragaan while he's toppled over. Mostly cuz in all this time I've had no need to hunt it

One event that used to be must do during early Iceborne is the Milla Jovovich monster hunter movie event, it's easy to do and you get a solid armor set (and layer armor) enough til you finish iceborne's main story, the best part is they are separate armor parts unlike witcher or Resident Evil events.
Too bad the event got taken down.

My recommendation to easily clear Mosswining and dining is using bow with piercing ammo, just build with full raw dmg. Small Mosswine can be killed with 3 rounds and Big Mosswin can be killed with 1 Wyvernsnipe + 3 rounds (With HBG). if using LBG it will take 1 or more round
Split them first for safety, and start shooting, if they do charge atk just roll to side.
You will have more time to prepare for big one, shot the fruit tree with stone and grab those slingger ammo (this ammo can stun the Mosswine, big one need 2 shoots).
Ready your special ammo and shot the big one when it appear. this atk will drop it's HP significantly. now you can kill it immediately or stun it first using slinger shoot.
I'm using Nargacuga HBG, best budget for piercing ammo. You can flash them or using paralyze ammo first if you want, but for me it's not necessary.
For Paolumu Lullabies, I don't recommend this event since this event also can kill you in 1 or 2 move. But it can be better reward and time efficient.
Here is my strategy. I use HBG Spread ammo with shield and temporal mantle (for safety). Then what I do is simply like hunt normal monster. Flash > Wall bang > when it down, plunder it > and shoot the head. Since the monster size is small, critical distance of spread ammo is enough to avoid all his atk, and still have temporal for emergency
I'm using Zinogre/Stygian HBG. the shield actually an optional but for safety I aslo using guard skill

Mosswining and dining is a really good money farm if you need. If you have 5 vouchers you can do it 5 times and get 500k zennies if you don't die.
Money has actually been a huge issue for me as I’ve been crafting and upgrading lots of very expensive late game gear back to back! Selling off excess items from steam works has helped as well, got no use for THOUSANDS of ancient potions haha

Nah Barroth OP, he ate that dragonator. For mosswinin and dinin your best choice of weapon is probably a hammer, longsword or dual blades. The last mosswine you can one shot with wyvern snipe.
Yeah, it really helped with keeping them staggered long enough to drop them! It’s still so scary though lol

The New Brute event is easy bc that Tigrex is extremely weak to water. Use a high water element weapon and it’ll stop shouting quickly. My long sword water build made that event a joke. So come prepared make sure ur water damage is 600+ and you’ll have to survive the first few min before the water blight slows it down drastically

In the Uragaan one, you had both insect charges, I only manage to do 1 of them, not both. How do you do that?
if your IG has the "spirit and strength boost" innate kinsect bonus, it'll do both regardless of ammo

The announcement of MH Wild and rumors it would be more similar to MHW than MHR, also coinciding with a big sale on MHW IB has led to a resurgence in this game. It's precisely why and when I just started playing, along with many others too of course.

Some players, like me, are returning after 4 years. Some will be returning after having only played the base game. Some will be returning with very little recollection of the game. Seems pretty self-explanatory to me! 😅
