@@TheJollyRogers I'd say the proof of the pudding is in its eating, but that doesn't sound good in this context. Or does it?

We do know that she was not executed. Her date and place of birth is uncertain and I know of no records. Some say that she was a red-head, born in Ireland. Others say that she was brown-haired and born in England. She died and was buried on December 29, 1733. age about 33 to 38 years, and may have been buried in an unmarked grave or the marker no longer exists. This information appears in a burial ledger at St. Catherine's Parish in Kingston, Jamaica, where she probably remained for the rest of her life. She probably was released by the governor under the condition that she did not go back to piracy and had to stay in Jamaica so that the governor could keep an eye on her. Maybe the plan was for her to take care of her child, but she probably put the child up for adoption. She probably returned to her previous profession of prostitute. There are no known records of her having married after her release. She did not die old, contented and fat. Being "contented" or "fat" was not part of her personality. She might have died peacefully, though, because she knew that she would be buried in consecrated ground. I know nothing about her child, and know of no records. There is nothing known about her life between Calico Jack's hanging on November 18, 1720, and her death, or the cause of her death. That period of time is just speculation because there are no records or information. - there is no proof of that.

There's no "proof" (or evidence or even a hint) at anything you said, actually. There are great books that deal with all the known info about Anne Bonny, if you're interested in her.

Honestly I feel like crime would go way down if the punishment for would be you would have your hands tied to wheelbarrow full of rocks and you would be whipped as you push that wheelbarrow up main Street whenever you got to the top of your hands were cut free your told don't do it again or the amount of lashes and rocks will be doubled

I think pirates would say "To hell with that!" and just not come back to land again. They'd set up floating cities in the middle of the ocean. You want Kevin Costner's Waterworld? 'Cause this is how you get Kevin Costner's Waterworld. ;)

Anne Bonny was an interesting early example of women's liberatiion. Some say that she fired a pistol into the hold where the drunk pirates were hiding, unable or unwilling to fight, and killed one. It sounds like what she would do. But there is no proof of that.
