Nice job. I always like your videos. Actually it would be very interesting what kind of optron is on inputs, and what is transistor (?) is on output. It mostly common problem when somebody burn out due wrong wiring

In one of our S7 1200 we didnot have the source file. We tried to access the project using TIA V13 where we could see the project blocks but the upload button was inactive. Then we tried to access using TIA V12, but doing so we didnot find any project in S7 1200. Could this be due to using lower TIA version?

Very good exposure of Simens S7 1200. I open out Omron plc .They are all 3 layers with Power supply ,IO layer ,microchips ,and everything covered by thermoset-plastics . I think Siemen 1500 with similar designed.

When I have seen the electric probe at 2:49 in your hand, something triggered inside me and a thought had arisen,
that probably someone just had applied Line (VAC) to DC power supply input of plc.

Btw, S7-1515 has 4 GB RAM, Dual-Core 1 GHz, AMD G Series APU T40E CPU on board. Do you have any information concerning entire 1500 series in tems of RAM and CPU characteristics?

Wow . Do you know Why the power loss 12W according to the datasheet; when the input power is 12 W too; meaning power consumption in the PLC is zero.
what about power consumed during computation and power stored by the RAM

Magnitudes cheaper than Allen Bradley by a long shot. Even the software has a sane price compared to the confusing structure from Rockwell. Every plant around here uses AB, but I'd personally do Siemens if I had a controls company.
