A comprehensive, step-by-step demonstration of a routine oil service on a BMW F800ST, including spark plug and filter changes, and a handy tip for a common seat problem on this model.
Just wanted to make a comment about how much oil the bike actually requires. You need to remember that if you are removing your old filter and starting with a new filter that new filter is going to absorb and fill up with a substantial amount of oil. So you should start the engine let it run for a minute or two and then check your oil level. I believe this guy forgot to mention that information
Thank as for the video. I own a yellow f800s since 14 years ago. It is a marvellous bike, good for every kind of use. Nimble in the city, fully enjoyable on twisty roads. Always comfortable. It is an smart choose.
This is one of the best CZcams videos on how to do a motorcycle service that I have ever seen. Bravo and thank you I just bought a 2011 it's only got 5,400 mi on it so I don't think I'm going to need to be doing any of this for a while but I definitely save this video thank you

Fantastic video! I just acquired my first BMW (2007 f800st), and I appreciate people making such informative content. Ride safe friend!
Mine (a 2010) has a 10mm 'female' Hex (aka allen wrench) for the sump nut. But then, I bought it in Germany, about 2 miles from their headquarters. :)
Actually, it's always good practice to use new washers. They don't cost anything and make sure you'll never leak past the seals.
I don't even own this bike and I was drawn to watch. Great video and very detailed.
Superb! You know what you are doing. I bought a 2007 F800ST. So glad these videos have been done. Thanks mate. Great learning experience.
wtf you got to pull half the bike apart for new plugs ....bmw should of made a smaller boxer engine
