Señor Fuchs, Gracias for De mistifying this and thus helping so many of us, clueless beginners to pave our way into music. We enjoy when the baby is sleeping and our videos are in the beautiful outdoors.
Awesome.. Love it, Thank You Stu, All The Best 👍❤️
Thanks Stu, I love this, so simple but so lovely.
Thank you Yvonne! It's nice to have and assessable starting point for chord soloing… Even if someone doesn't make it more complex you can always add variations with different rhythms and different tone colors by the way you strum and pick the strings. Thanks for watching & see you in the next vid!
Beautiful! From Thailand
Thank you very much! I hope to visit Thailand again someday… What a beautiful beautiful land and people. 🙏

Beautiful sounding - thanks for sharing :)

I am familiar with this chord progression because of Jason Mratz song " I'm yours".....thank you for sharing your knowledge , such a beautiful sounding lick to add to my playing.
Stu said he was trying for the first variation to sound *like* "I'm Yours!" (I told him in his comment that I thought it sounded like that.)
hey,, I can do this one! woohoo! proud o' mee'self :) Thanks!
Love it
Thank you Sharon!
That id nice and simple at the same time!
Glad you like it Karinda!
I am both a wood worker and a ukulele beginner, so I make things with my hands, and also with my soul...music.
Ooooh...I like that John. Wish I had wood working skills....Maybe you'll make a uke of your own someday?
Very good thank you..:-)
Nice one. The easiest chord melody is Frere Jacques starting on the 3rd fret of the A string. If you do that and strum the other open strings you get instant chord melody!! :)
Nice 👍😎
Thank you! Cheers Mary!
Hi! I noticed that at 2:43, you say to go to 5th fret to 7th fret. It's actually 3rd fret to 7th fret. Had to watch it a few times to make sure. Nevertheless, beautiful chord progression. Thank you for the video!
Yes! Thank you for that feedback!
thanks for saying something! I thought it was just me. ha! nevertheless a great lesson!
さんこうになりました。🙌🤗🇯🇵
Hi! My question has nothing with this video. I just thought that you would be right person to answer if it is possible to do R L Burnside's strum on uke? Thanks for your videos! Since i am beginner i am not yet up to most of techniques you are showing, but you're great inspiration for me to practice.
Thank you for this wonderful lesson. I am considering purchasing one of those Kala tenor ukes with the single-cutaway and built-in electronics. Can you please tell us more about the model you are playing? Thanks in advance.
In this video I'm playing a Kala tenor uke with a Cedar top...not sure if they still make this exact model, but if you google those terms you should find something very similar... Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this lesson. It could also accompany 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz. I'm having difficulty with the stretch in the last part of the melody over the F chord. I have resolved this by playing as follows: A-string(8th fret) with C-string (9th fret); A(7th) with C (7th); A (5th) with C(5th).
That's a great way to modify it - great stuff Linda!
Could you maybe create a tutorial of Eels: beautiful creep? Woul make me happy!!!
can't stop listening to this
can u teach us some more simple melodies like these
pls thanks
Thanks for watching and playing along! More to come on this subject for sure! BTW, I have a ukulele mini course all about intros endings and turnarounds available at my website store if you’re interested: www.stufuchs.com
@@UkuleleZen thanks ok
How do YOU switch fro G to G7 and back to G? Seems to cause me problems.
Hi can you kindly show us on some song where we can apply this lick plsss Thank you!!!! Nice!!!
Cuanto desearía que tradujeras tus videos al spanish, al español….
Part 1 sounds like "I'm Yours," probably because it uses that progression.
Great ears Wyatt! That’s exactly the feel I was going for 🙌🤙🎶
@@UkuleleZen Ok- the melody too: the progression is too obvious.
@@UkuleleZen Do you have a similar video for if you start on what here is the 4 or 6 chord? Those are both common (it's just the 5-6-4-1 that is the least common)
How do you incorporate this lick into songs?
Try it on any of the songs I played at the top - also Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours
What make and model the black strings? I see a lot of you tuber instructors using them
Freemont Black Florocarbon strings...Low G. In a future video I will have more discussion of strings… Thanks for watching :)
@@UkuleleZen they look good! Do they do them in high G?
Lovely exercise, Stu, but way too fast for me (a relative beginner) to follow..... I'm hoping you have more info on the PDF you spoke about. Happy days!
What about playback speed or looping?
is your ukulele tuned to low G?
Yes indeed! There are the Uke strings played in this video (each set enough for TWO changes): amzn.to/2UnE5qf
@@UkuleleZen Okay great! thank you! oh btw, I love what you're doing here!
The melody is pretty much the same as "I'm Yours"
EXACTLY! This video was posted with that title and then was flagged...I worked around it ;-) Hope you'll subscribe for more vids like this one...Be well & Happy playing, Stu
Stu is real beautiful! But sure that mosquito did bit him 🤣
