Love your videos! Feedback: for the average FPS in 1440p across PCs, are you using all the games or only the ones for which you have data for all the PCs? It seems that you didn't test Doom and Apex on the HP Omen, which have high FPS (at least for the other PCs); this makes the average FPS of the HP way lower than for the other PCs, which is confusing given that the HP is as good as them for all the games (on which you tested it) but Tomb Raider.
Dude I must say I’m completely new to PC gaming and you’re helping me MASSIVELY!!! I actually prematurely pulled the trigger on the Corsair i7200 with the 3070 and regretted it as soon as I looked up the 3070. Not that it’s bad but I’m looking for serious 4K gaming under $3,000. Best buy has this build right with a 3080Ti and I think I might get it after returning the i7200.
Pretty thorough review, informative and shot well. The only thing that I disagree with you on is the lack of fan/performance control in Windows, both features are available in Windows with the ASrock MB Utility and/or Intel Xtreme Tuning Utility. Those fans look to be controlled with a stand alone controller, unless they are plugged into a chassis fan header fan speed isn't software controlled.

I have this case and it's great. It's called Metallic Gear Neo by Phanteks I think. My rtx 2070 super mildly overclocked sits at low 60s a few hours into gaming.

Quick question: Is there a reason in particular that you choose to spec these PC's to the limit instead of reviewing the ones that are within the 2000/3000 $ budget? Obviously it's cool to see how well these top-end components perform in a prebuilt but i doubt that more than a dozen viewers would actually consider buying the 4000$+ monstrosities. Either way, the breakdowns were awesome and your videos really help narrow things down so thank you :)
Great video man! I am considering this PC (first time buying a PC ever) but have read reviews that it can crash often and sometimes even daily. Did you have that experience in the few weeks you got it or were those reviews just bad apples?
Any computer can have stability issues, keeping your bios and drivers up to date will prevent instability. No computer should crash daily, if it does something is wrong. Nobody sells computers that crash daily.

I do a lot of renderings with Lumion and 3D modeling softwares for architectural purposes and I wanted to get your opinion regarding witch PC is better, is the alienware R13 or this PC is better and better suited for the future? It's much more future proof, upgradeable, faster, and just overall a better bang for your buck than the R13

Both of them will be plenty fast for what you need but personally I would go with the one from Skytech with the 3080Ti in that second link.

Just ordered myself a Skytech Prism 2 with the 12700k, the RTX 3080, and 32GB DDR5 memory with the help of your advice. Can't wait to get my hands on this beast of a machine. Looking for 1440p gaming at 165hz which this build definitely seems capable of without breaking the bank for me now and is definitely an upgrade over my last PC. Also looking for a system that can easily handle content creation and rendering which again this system seems very capable of.
how has the PC been working for you so far?
@@dandxmers PC has been working great. I have used it for a few days now. I am shocked at how big the RTX 3080 is as it does not look near as big in the pictures and the graphics card draws near 400 watts under load; at least with the model I got being MSI Suprim. The cooling of the system works great although the fans are a bit noisy even while the computer is idle. Definitely feel the build is plenty capable of what I was looking for though. Some minor gripes I have is that the rear IO shield is partially bent, and the cable management could have been done a bit better. The system was packaged pretty well so I'm not completely sure how the IO Shield got bent but regardless the system is running very smoothly and seems stable, at least with no overclocking enabled.

That’s is pretty impressive that it had similar cpu temps as the omen 45l becasue if I remember correctly hp isn’t even running the 12900k at full power.

Built my own back in June for 3k better results and much easier than I expected it's not hard. If you think you can build one then do so. Still happy for my first build and trying to get better clocks but in less I custom water cool I have almost reach the cap

Are the fans drawing cold air in over the radiator or exhausting outward with already warm air? Could the fan orientation be changed behind the radiator?
Either way the only fresh air is coming from the bottom of the chassis, you can install the fans on the rear of the radiator. What is generally a good idea is to add 3 fans on the other side of the radiator so you get a push-pull configuration.

I got an asus rog zephrayus laptop in 2019 for 1700 dollars. Today I went to turn it on, and I always leave it plugged in, but this time the whole things was dead. I could not get it to work and even ended up opening it to clean it. It still did not work. By the way it was at full battery when I shut it down last night, so the power should not be the issue. Do you know what I could do? I do not want to sell this laptop.

I actually purchased this PC and I am having an extremely hard time getting the RGB software to work properly. The Signal RGB software isnt recognizing any of the components correctly. I know you have difficulty with the fans being picked up, but I cant recognize anything. Any help would be appreciated. Do you know of alternative software that could recognize all the components more easily?

Hey Yazid I would say that it's between this version of this Skytech Prism bit.ly/Skytech-Prism-2 and that Corsair go.corsair.com/6bMWx3 that I reviewed. You will be very pleased with either of those for gaming and web development. But I lean towards the Skytech because I like the design better and it just looks so freaking awesome on my desk.

hey i was checking the websites and saw that this Prism is at 3699.99 while the HP Omen 3499.99 and since you said the fps is much better on the omen should i still save up for the omen or should i just get this prism? This choice between the two depends on one main factor. Do you ever plan to upgrade your GPU or RAM? Or do you usually just get rid of your computer after several years and upgrade the whole thing? The HP Omen 45L is super fast and the least expensive i9 3090 prebuilt I've tested yet but the Skytech Prism II has the newer DDR5 RAM and PCIE 5.0 which is most likely what the next generation of GPUs (Nvidia's 4000 series) will need in order to perform at their new insane speeds. I personally would spend the $200 extra to get a much more upgradeable machine that in my opinion looks a lot cooler but the HP Omen 45L is currently the most bang for your buck option. Hope this helps!

I ordered the i9 12900k with the 3090ti from Amazon. It showed up today about 2 hours ago. I excitedly opened it just to be pissed. NO GPU,NO RAM AND NO NVME! Either it was shipped to Amazon with the stuff missing, or someone from the Jessup pa Amazon location opened it and stole it. It has since been brought to ups for return.
nothing is said about who is the manufacture of the PS or the motherboard let alone the marker of the case.
they really need to use different names for different tiers of PC....i was looking for the 5800x/3080 review which also happens to be called Prism 2.....

I am a very casual but long term computer PC Gamer. I don't do anything crazy or champion level stuff, just casual World of Warcraft, ESO, Diablo 3 (want 4 but computer sucks). I purchased what i thought was a good middle of the road Alien Ware DELL in 2021, BIG MISTAKE, The computer I replaced it with was faster. THIS DELL Takes 5 min to wake up and 3 min to open a web page at 40MB/S internet speed. And to say nothing of the lag and graphic catch up when playing games. I quit WOW because it was so slow i couldn't do anything, and ESO is almost as bad I die before i can react to anything when i am around other players. So i am again looking to drop about $2,000 on a gaming computer and looking at the Skytech and the Corsair. Again a lot of stuff you covered in this video is way over my head and my capacity. I do a lot of home MS Office stuff but thats about it. I am not a frames per second junky or high end gamer, just casual but i would at least like to play. My internet is 60mb/s down and 40mb/s up. But man games are whack slow. Diablo 3 i can't even hardly play as once to many things come into the view its slows down and almost stops. So what would you recommend out of these two computers as I don't have the mind to build one so prebuilt is my only option. Thanks for sharing.
@Rob-od2ei I highly recommend the Skytech Azure 2 for that price point. You can see how insanely fast it was in my review czcams.com/video/GXb2_kuPEV4/video.html . But if you don't have the time for that here's the link to the product page bit.ly/SkytechAzure2 . Long story short, in all of my tests it performed BETTER than all the i9 3090 PCs from last year. Which were about $4000 last year. The Skytech Azure 2 is half that and faster. It was a really good one. If you can squeeze $2400, then the 4080 version below will be about 20% faster than the one I reviewed.

What do mean when you keep saying the i7 runs cooler then the rest ? Why is that , are i7's better for gaming ?
i7s run cooler than the other maxed out machines that I normally test with i9 CPUs. i9 CPUs will be faster but they are usually bottlenecked and held back because of how hot they get. i7 CPUs are a better bang for your buck
