Glad to here Brandon is ok. It most have been bad around two miles before the end that's were my son snapped off the front left wheel on his quad. Didn't get to see all of Brandon's race we were pitted at the one mile marker and GNCC cut out the one mile to the three mile marker . The kids were still race over there when Brandon's race started. Good luck this weekend
@@prorow784 I could tell, I had 2 renegades ,raced several years ,then I tore rotator cuffs when I turned 48 I had to quit. Definitely more fun than 450s were
Glad you’re not hurt. Just won local woods race 4x4 class up here in Indiana… idk how you guys keep your bikes so clean I swear have to wash mine 4 times before it’s clean haha
What fan do you guys run on your quad? I just had one at this weekends race snap off all the way around the center section. Is there anything more beefy or just put another stock one on and send it. Was a rough track idk if a stick got it or what.
@@kyleayer5805 We run just the stock fan…. We are changing them half way through the season on the race quad. We have had this happen to us before also. I think it’s a combination between age and the tremendous amount of heat they endure. Other than keeping them changed we don’t do anything else🏁
That was my family at 20:52. The speed the leader came through that section with was insane. He never touched the breaks where every other person was on the brakes hard for that tight section of trees.

Oh no, in fact we add the rear caliper to the new quads that don’t have them. He has all four brake calipers and utilizes both brake master cylinders on the handle bars.
@@prorow784 Thank you for the quick response. I was asking because I just bought a Renegade 1000 (was previously raced by a GNCC 4x4 racer) and the back brake pedal will lock all 4 tires up. The quad will stop on a dime and I still have the front levers for front and back brakes. I didn’t know if this was a mod that was done or not and while looking into came across a Renegade that had the back brake pedal delete…..coming from the 450 world this is all new to me.
@@coryemerson9225 Yeah yours has been modified…. Their is an additional brake line and Castle bolt at the rear master cylinder. This is the way most guys run them. The only downside I feel to it done this way is you really have to pay attention to how much force you are applying with your foot as you will heat the brakes up very quickly and loose them until they cool back off. As you stated it stops great just don’t over do it.

Yes you’re right and coming from a 450 it’s completely different, I didn’t know it was like that and hammered the back brake pedal to slide around a corner……it came to a complete stop and about threw me over the bars. Not lately, check your vent hoses for the fuel tank.. make sure they are not clogged or kinked. You may have to find someone with the BUDS computer program to hook up to it and see which and what code comes up to lead you in the right direction.
Not really…. Just a few things to consider, if you could get the same wheel and tire combo. Most guys run 25x8-12 . The stock rear tires are just to bouncy. After that I would say have someone do a shock conversion, this helps a lot. Next maybe do the tune on the ecu and a Hmf exhaust , at this point your pretty much set. We are at the gncc races, you are more than welcome to to come see us🏁

Just won my first race on my Renegade at Worcs. Passed the finish line and it went into limp mode and died. 2023 1000. You guys run into this much ?
