2023 Gncc Buckwheat 100 4x4 Pro Brandon Frazier

Brandon had a great race mostly running in 2nd place the entire race. He ended up having the radiator clog with dirt and debris causing the quad to go in limp mode. We got lucky and finished 3rd!

Good effort, the limp mode deal sucks. Is it an overheating issue that shuts it down or other sensor? Just spitballing here, considered a radiator relocate kit or even trying the XMR to see if that helps?

This is xc racing no they wouldn’t try the xmr or relocate a rad

Seems every time he is racing someone close the radiator will clog quickly. I think most of the debris comes from underneath and the fans we run pull a lot of air so it acts like a vacuum for the fine mist coming off the tires from the quad in front of you. We are going to seal this up to see if this helps. Thanks Bryan🏁

@@randomlano1025 yes its cross country racing which many of them turn into mud races so it would be a bad idea to move the radiator up high? Or even run an xmr setup at the mud races? Yeah that would just be stupid! Smdh.

Limp mode is so frustrating. My last 4 out of 5 races it’s gone into limp mode. After plugs, boots, and a coil, I think I figured it out to be a dirty MAF sensor. Nice race none the less!

For sure RWF, this seems to happen whenever you are following close. I think majority of it is the fine spray coming from the quad in front and it’s being vacuumed into the radiator from underneath clogging it slightly.
