  • Hey there, I’m Justin Pritchard, an award-winning technical writer and motoring journalist. Buckle up because we’re diving into the exhilarating world of the Genesis GV60 Performance.
If you're an in-market shopper considering a Genesis GV60 Performance, I've created this video for you to be a valuable resource on the topic.
Here's what I've got for you in this Genesis GV60 road test, review, walkaround and night drive:
    00:00 Introduction
01:03 2024 Genesis GV60 Performance: Meet This Electric Luxury SUV
02:13 2024 Genesis GV60 Performance: Comprehensive Walkaround (We Explore Everything!)
    05:44 2024 Genesis GV60 Performance: Road Test
09:06 2024 Genesis GV60 Performance: Artificial Engine Sound Effects Tested
    13:21 2024 Genesis GV60 Performance: Night Drive
This South Korean-built beauty, dressed in Makalu Grey, is no ordinary luxury crossover. It’s the first dedicated all-electric model from Genesis. No gas or hybrid distractions here-just pure electric performance. With a 77.4 kWh battery pack and dual electric motors, the GV60 Performance packs a punch: 483 horsepower and a whopping 516 pounds of torque. Click that boost button on the steering wheel, and you’ll feel like you’ve been rear-ended by a bus (in a good way, I promise). 0 to 60? Under 4 seconds. Buckle up, folks!
But it’s not all about raw power. On the highway, the GV60 glides like a dream. The adaptive suspension, guided by a forward-facing camera, soaks up rough roads without breaking a sweat. And those safety systems? They’ve got your back, your sides, and even what’s up ahead. Smooth regenerative braking? Check. One-pedal driving? Absolutely. This luxury cruiser knows how to pamper you on long trips.
Let’s talk about driving in the dark. The GV60’s interior is a sanctuary. Illuminated controls, a crisp head-up display, and matte finishes keep distractions at bay. And those headlights? Top-notch. Bright, white, and far-reaching, they’ll guide you through winding highways. Sure, we miss adaptive steerable projectors, but the GV60 still earns top safety scores.
So, get ready for a mesmerizing nighttime drive!

The GV60 performance is a sleeper. People will assume they pulled up beside another small SUV, and have no clue about the 483HP, 3 second supercar that will quietly and ferociously blow away pretty much anything AMG or BMW M has to offer.
This car is a unicorn, and well worth the price of admission. I'm excited to get mine.
