A Siesta for the win agaaaiiin ✊🤣that's the homie! The way you feel about white pedis is the way I feel about having this as my Pedi color! All year round. After I finish rope twisting my hair imma do my nails in A Siesta and use some glow in the dark pigments to match my toes. I'm glad you didn't give up on gel❤️

I love doing a great ombré with polygel! I start from the bottom to the top as well. If you put it on all of the fingers as let the polygel rest for a minute or two it softens up and makes it a lot less sticky and easier to ombré. 🤭 In my opinion, you're practicing with the best polygel! I also cure and add if needed. Thank you for another great video!

This poly gel is a game changer for me. I'm always sweating the clock with acrylic. And I'm not a nail tech... but this gel is easy.

Ombré with polygel can be so hard. You did great. I find that I do better when I apply less of the cuticle area color and do a couple layers. It lets me get the right amount of fade.

Beautiful set Vee you never disappoints
If I don't have a slip solution, I use rubbing alcohol. Also if I need to add more, I just put it on with the other side of the brush and kind of mush them together so they are one. When you remove the tacky layer with rubbing alcohol, if it still compacts in the drill, then the polygel wasn't fully cured and needs to go back under the light again.
My favorite slip is straight 91% alcohol to work the polygel!! The higher percentage of alcohol the quicker it evaporates. Lower percentage alcohol doesn't work as well I've noticed..

I LOVE seeing you do polygel! I love watching your videos, but I can’t do acrylic because of the monomer odor.
Makartts polygel is my favorite because it’s more stiff than some brands. But it can get sticky which the base coat works well for. If you have a runny polygel, it’ll make the consistency worse so rubbing alcohol works better in that case.

I've learned that working with any Type of gel, it's also better to etch the nail tip. Some polygel also works better with alcohol than their slip solution. But these are so beautiful and the matte makes them look like acrylic.

Loving this design! 💛💚 When you ombré, try using the spatula to remove the extra polygel you don’t need. That way you don’t have to keep wiping your brush and reapplying slip/base coat 😊

I personally always start with my cuticle shade as it's much easier to get that thin layer then lay your ombre from the free edge (imo). And I prefer rubbing alcohol 70% or higher to slip solution or base coat!
I love polygel 🥰 only product I use besides builder gel.
I use above 80% alcohol for the slip solution and it works perfect
You can always use alcohol as well as a slip solution 😉 the set came out beautiful 😍

I would experiment with different polygel brands. Makartt is known for being very sticky and hard to work with.
I would recommend trying to find a softer one.
Use alcohol to shape and base coat for the final smoothing of product. Also work in sections and cure in between them!

It is not very sticky and hard you must be using modelones or another PolyGel brand because it’s not Makartt.
@@Vee_nailedit watch nailsbyvic to learn how to do PolyGel. And I don’t know what that lady is talking about but Makartt isn’t very sticky and hard I’m a beginner and it’s the best I have ever used. The only very sticky PolyGel is Modelones.

I love polygel for me it's so much easier than acrylic but I'm also trying to get acrylic down like I have polygel cuz when I watch you or a few others do acrylic I say to myself I can do that so I go to my nail room and try and nope still can't get it right. They don't come out real bad but I'm just used to polygel lol

I prefer using 91% alcohol as slip solution! When blending the nudes use the tip of your brush, I use polygel a lot lol I just wish I can work with acrylic like you!! But I use polygel on my channel if you're interested check it out ! Beautiful set as always ❤️

Hey V. Love your bravery. Your content is always so relatable. I, too, gave up on polygel very early on in my nail journey, cus the stickiness was just too much for me and my OCD. 🤣🤣 Also, could you give me the link for the practice hand nails that you use, I have had a hard time getting any of my nails to stay stuck to the hand. It looks like there is lines between the ones you use and the hand. I bought my practice hand used and it didn't come with the tips that are meant to be used so can u let me know if there's anywhere I can get the ones that u use. Thanx so much.
