Whatever algorithm picked this out for me I'm very gratified and pleased thank you to the composer and the organist I should say the artists for The splendid interpretation
@@RobCharles1981 Thanks Mr. Charles. My mom was a lead singer in her church and loved hymns to the utmost. We lost her this year in February at the wonderful age of 100.5 yrs. She would have celebrated 101 yrs on September 6th, 2022. Her beautiful voice woke us up every morning to hymn singing. We miss her dearly. Your music is so therapeutic. God Bless you 🙏
Excellent. Really appreciate how you played this great Handel tune from the glorious hymn we had at the funeral of our son, played by brass youth band to state death is not the end. One thing missing - the singing of the words.
Lyrics: Thine Be The Glory Risen Conquering Son Endless Is The Victory Thou Death Has Won Angels in bright Raiment Rolled The Stone Away Kept The Folded Grave Clothes Where The Body Lay Thine Be The Glory Risen Conquering Son Endless is the Victory Thou Death Has Won
Yet another outstanding performance of one of my favorite hymns (and I have so many). I first heard this played on a pipe organ at an Easter service in Santa Barbara, California way back in 1990. Sadly, it's rarely performed anymore where I live..Thanks again, Rob, for your superb execution of a magnificent hymn tune.
I grin like a mad hatter every Easter when I get to belt out this hymn in my extremely mediocre 2nd soprano! Love your artistry and instrument thank you!
Listened again tonight to this lovely version of hymn by Rob. I hope all is well for you over there in Wales Rob. Off to church in 12 hours. No masks tomorrow I hope so we can sing praise to our Lord Jesus and our heavenly Father. Bruce.
Thank you so much for sharing these videos. You are a wonderful organist and I really love your style of playing. Also a great choice of hymns. Thanks again and please keep adding more videos.
While making a film for the United Bible Societies in 1996 , I filmed this hymn being sung at a church in Mississauga Canada. I had never heard it before then, but now it always lifts me up whenever I hear it. Rob's playing it at Oystermouth really gives me a boost, especially during these lock down days. THANKS ROB. AWESOME RENDITION BUD. Bruce in Atlantic Canada.
I never get tired of watching you play and listening to your beautiful music Rob. AND you are not just a brilliant musician but brilliant period - I see you on LinkedIn!!! WOW!
Rob, just wonderful. This great Easter hymn has great meaning for me, as it was played at the end of both my grandparents' funerals. The whole church was singing to this powerful music as we carried them to their rest; and what else could have reinforced the sure and certain hope of the resurrection so well. Thank you so much for your playing, your videos and your talent!
Great Easter piece. I enjoy playing it and have played it as an instrumental with trumpet accompaniment. Wish I had your skills particular;y with the pedals. Thanks for sharing this tune. Chris
Rob..being raised a Catholic i thought i had heard, played and sung every great hymn in the books...Well let me put on my surprised face!! Another magnificent example of your musical talent!!
Every time I watch and listen to you play this hymn, I cannot but thank you for playing and recording this and with excellent audio quality. Stereo and great balance of bass and treble. Keep safe during this Covid 19 situation.
Rob as.I listen to you play this beautiful hymn I cant help but wonder what The Lord is getting me ready for but listening to you play it really helps me to focus on The Lord and his Loving kindness for us
Ah, it sounded even better than I expected with the H2! Enjoyed the last verse variation as well! Thanks for all the work you do in putting these videos out there - very much appreciated =D
Thank you Daniel for your kind comment and encouragement you will not get a better Organ than this I can tell you when you stand right by the area console the "Bass" is something!!
Will play this for Easter Sunday as a service prelude as the Final Prelude for the service. I will use a trumpet stop for the final voice. Full organ 16 foot to4 foot on the lower keyboard plus the brass and have the trumpet solo on the upper. I am playing a rather ancient Yamaha B45 I think from the 70s. I would really love to play a pipe organ with the horizontal trumpet pipes.
hi rob. . . Really this is very tough song for me to play... U played it very nicely . It was a charming one. My husband is a big fan of u. Keep playing.
Whatever algorithm picked this out for me I'm very gratified and pleased thank you to the composer and the organist I should say the artists for The splendid interpretation

One of mother's favorite hymns. I can hear her singing it now. Rest In Peace Mother dearest. I miss you so much.
Thank You - Sorry for your loss.
