I've lived in Vegas over 20 years and it's taking me this long to realize how fascinating its history is! These are fantastic!!

Just in 28 years of driving truck, I've seen the Las Vegas area explode, it's amazing!!!!! I don't think it's going to stop either! Same with the Southern Arizona big cities, any of them, all of them!!!! :O

Enjoyed this. A lot of great pics and videos. My gr gr gr grandparents were grandparents to Wm Andrews Clark who was a founder of Vegas and for whom the county is named. I didn't come from his lineage but his story is interesting albeit not always likeable. Especially interesting is the story of one of his dtrs, Huguette Clark told in the book Empty Mansions ( I don't get any royalties, lol ). There's a lot on Google about both of them. Got to see Hoover Dam for only the second time in my life a yr and a half ago. A must side trip if you go to Vegas. Words can't describe the visuals of it in person. Take the time to walk across it and the fairly new bridge.

The city that grew with Hoover dam and Colorado river. Ironically it will die when that river water and dam finally rich to its natural end.
