Is that right regarding the challenge? cant you then hit the unit after killing the challenge? Seems pointless to have champions to challenge out otherwise?
Totally agree, we couldn't find anything in the book, and more or less winged it with my dragon stomping the unit and his sphinx could hit me. But the talk around here amongst TOs is to play it like before, a challenge lasts for that combat round, feels like that is the intention, otherwise the dragons are even more powerful if you can't challenge them away
Can I ask why you prefer the ogre blade over the spear of twilight. Always like your vids as a wood elf player myself. Though I tend to make really different lists.
You will have to drop all other characters, don't think it is worth it for Wood Elves. The second dragon won't be as good either (not enough points to kit) and you want spells and the bsb for the rest of the army

S6 is good enough plus multiple wounds.
Multiple wounds mainly, other then that the spear is better for sure :)

It would probably be better to take some treemen to provide a couple more scary big guys?
