yeah :(
Oof
;w;
Same ;n; If you found a 300 square foot studio in CA for less than 1k a month, you're INSANELY lucky
I literally choked my drink when he said how low his rent is.
I questioned the $600 monthly rent until he said it was in Ohio
ZURNIEL2 why ohai is that cheap? I dont get it hahaa
@@andrew-isac it depends on wear you live in Ohio.
@@deaddeaddemon1149 I lived in Cincinnati 2 bed 2 bath basement apartment for $499 a month in 2014
I live in Ohio and yes Ohio is actually very cheap great place to live
😂😂glad I live in Ohio for once
That rent is ridiculously low for that apartment....
small town (:
Go to akron you could buy a house dirt cheap. A ghost town when i went there.
Way cheap! U can’t live anywhere that cheap
@@LeviKellyTours I have a smilair small town in southernish mn and a house here is like 1400 to 1500 and apartments are around 800 to 900
Small towns are cheap
Living on your own is freakin expensive. You’re doing a great job covering all those bills on your own as a young adult. Great video!
Been living on my own for 3 months and when you said your rent was $664 my jaw dropped on the floor. I pay $600 for my own room and that's not including utilities.
Bruhhh. For under $850 I can get a tiny studio in some less desireable areas here in az😂
I'm trying to move to Tucson AZ and I know to avoid south Tucson but I have found apartments under 700 in places like flowing Wells and I looked up the apartments it seemed like decent reviews
I can get 3 beds and 2 baths and a basement for under 850 that's an apartment in ohio lmfao
I live in a tiny studio in PHX for 750 without electricity.
I feel like everyone that’s wondering if you can make a living is trying to live in AZ cause these apartments prices are ridiculous
I thought AZ was dirt cheap tho
I sincerely hope your parents are PROUD of you and your accomplishments. I would be, if you were my son!
Yeah i probably wouldn't make it on my own i would probably kill myself
The cost of living is just too high. I mean why does it cost so much to exist???
For reeeeal
Probably live in a liberal state
@@jonathanhardee6675 yeah Louisiana cheap
@@jamesjr2550 same with South Carolina
@@jonathanhardee6675 it seems like the south in general besides flordia
I’m in NJ, couldn’t relate to this video as there is no apartments for $664 a month, anywhere.
Ditto
Flip the first number to a 9, maybe I can find a real low quality one at best...
it's not worth living here. too expensive
Just moving to NJ next month lol
Deadass lol
I live in California and no one here thinks that $600 a month for rent is a lot, rent in my neighborhood for a place that size is about $3000.
I live in Detroit Michigan a place like that is 1k or 900
I'm in Alaska and a falling apart 1 bed 1 bath is like $1000 a month without utilities. :/
How are you this mature, wow content for someone your age is usually useless random stuff, your channel is amazing! Very professional, major kudos! Happily subscribed.
Thank you so much!!
Couple things at least to include would be Car Insurance, (mine as a 27 year old male is somewhat high even with minimal coverage) around $90, and then Gas money which depends how much you wanna go out, around 75-100 I'd say at least, also whatever hobbies you may want to do as well would cost something as well. Of course we can't just stay bored 24/7 gotta have stuff to do!
/edit also you have to factor in that with the price of rent etc it also very much depends on what your location is (obviously to some of us) because of job opportunity and average income. So like in california, LA then it could be as much as like 5 grand just for a studio apartment, but also careers around there are the real money makers. Really averages out in the end more or less. Good idea too, would be to commute from a lower cost area...
To where the money making jobs would be. Here a lot of people do that from counties outside of King county to work in seattle while living somewhere more peaceful and cheaper.
Hope this helped everyone. And good luck!
What on earth! That rent is amazing!!! And wow your expenses over all equal the rent for a decent apartment here in Miami 😂. But this was a good video it’s giving me an idea of how to budget when I move out.
haha! Yeah I bet Miami is crazy
David Perry I’m from Miami as well and I’m shook. We literally work to just pay rent.
What parts of FL are good to live in? Looking for an area with nice houses.
M Jz nice houses! Well around south Florida southwest ranches is always in a conversation here, honestly a lot of the places with “good houses” have an hoa unfortunately but I’m sure there are a million other areas
@@davidperrii Thank you!
Good stuff man. I live in downtown St Louis near the arch and my rent is $650 for my rent. I hope you're investing at least $1000 month, you'll be a millionaire by 50. I also love when the electric bill is less than $35.
Just saw the Gazette article and stumbled on this. I used to live in the front half of 137 next to you! Lived there for 5 years until 2006. Paid $450 a month for that place. Electric killed us. We had the same baseboard heating. Saved and finally bought my own home. Fun to see that apartment. I’ve been in the apartment below you. It’s beautiful as well. Miss living downtown. Best wishes from a fellow Chillicothian!
That's a great Deal. I pay double that and doesn't include anything,.. Nice spot you have.
its not too bad! perks of living in a small town
My rent is $1,540 alone
I’m sorry for that.
Same here
I’m getting my first & new apartment January 1st my rent alone is also around there, gatta do more work. But worth it 🙌🏾
what do you do for a living
Same and I’m 21
Damn I’m jealous of that rent!
This seems so detailed and I am not even done watching yet.
Makayla Simon well keep watching!!😁
Levi Kelly I did nicely made video.
Makayla Simon thank you!
I live in Virginia Beach and apartments here that cost that low are usually very rundown and have a bunch of issues. If u wanna pay for a good one you’d have to have a couple thousand. I’ve seen ones around here that start at 3,000!
same! i’m not trynna to pay 1,000 a month for a rundown apartment thats within a terrible neighborhood in norfolk
@@MayaLiliaa same here lol, I’m in VB too
Did you ever find something ? Lol
I didn’t realize how close you are, I live in Newark! Nice place!

Brianna Barbee hahah yes you do!

I'm a bit late but your videos are insanely beautiful and so is your idea of living like a minimalist ...wish you all the success dude 😎

Nice! think that’s pretty good 😁 (as a single parent with two daughters budget budget budget every cent!)

That is a great price for that beautiful place.
I thought about the same amount.

Start saving early g

Lil Tagyo im 14 as well and ive been doing research for a bit and realized the best plan of action is living in a big city in a small state. like for example i live in florida and my house is around $250k and its a pretty good sized house. $250k in a place like idaho or some shit is a mansion
@@liltagyo3764 i mean i DO have $300 in my moeny jar lol
@@kingvamp2815
As an Idahoan, to me 250k is a mansion.
Thanks for sharing 🌻
here is a tip buy a plug in heater. (with something for it to sit on if your gonna use it as your main heating so ur house dont burn down) even a cheap $20 heater is more efficient then the baseboard heaters. i have had them before and yes they suck.
around how much did you have saved before moving in and are you living stable? im 19 yrs old looking to move out soon trying to get a general idea. altough i do live in boston lol (very expensive)
Well… this is 3yrs ago lol. Life was different. In Florida, $750-$900 will get you a room/utilities in a decent house share
Where I live the city has cheaper apartments than the local town does.
Though my town is a bit more populated than where your living now.
I was convinced to move there after watching this video then I searched some more videos on Chillicothe Ohio😭🤚
Omygosh your rent is soooo good!!! Especially for all of that.
cool video. I am moving to Cincinnati over the summer for an internship and it will be the first time I will live on my own. scary and excited at the same time.
$665? in Miami that’s a blessing from above
Even in san diego!!
Good job, brother! It's really interesting to know about a place you haven't been. I see it in Russia, and by the way, I shoot the same thing about Russia. With love from Russia!🙃
In order to live on your own your going to need good budgeting skills with saving/spending whatnot and have a good paying job at least a few bucks or so above minimum wage. I'll be working soon in a lumber factory that pays 19 an hour starting out and after getting settled in for some time you can move up planned on doing the logging get over 30 an hour. Easily be able to afford an apartment then after some time has passed save up for a house. Obviously easier said than done but that's the route I'm going love the area I live in it's beautiful and I get to enjoy the beautiful forest before it gets burned down by monkeys.
$664 FOR THAT MUCH IS A FRICKIN STEAL! GOOD LORD! Where I live, a studio apartment would go to near $3k!
Have you made a video of HOW YOU make videos - - and what CAMERA and EQUIPMENT you use? - - - need to know

Bro! I am laughing from New Jersey on that rent brother!
That is a beautiful Apartment and amazing rent ,,my Brother and I paid 1005 in Garland Texas and nothing close to as nice as that ,,,can I move in to your spare room Sir
I live in Garland too
How much does he make? that would put the 600$ into perspective. Give us the scoop.
Living in ohio is EXTREMELY cheap. I think it's the lowest rent in america on average
I'm curious, how did you find your apartment and landlord? I've been looking into a downtown apartment and I'm struggling to find connections
does anyone know how much it would be for a place in Pennsylvania Philipsburg?
A lot of places won’t let you even submit an application unless you make 3.5x rent. So, if you want to pay $600, then you must make at least $2100/mo
Great video, content I can relate with....but what about health insurance and retirement?
Colt Kelly retirement is in the making... slowly
@@LeviKellyTours Hmm Colt Kelly let me guess a relative of yours
How is you rent so low, I only could get an apartment a third the size of yours for that price (If Im lucky) here in Budapest, Hungary, and our avarge income dosen't even compare to the American. What the frick
Acean HUN thats way low especially for american standards lol 600 will probably get me just a big bedroom
@@Bluemann023 Thats Ohio for you. Stuff there is extremely cheap
@@Quon410 Makes me wish that I lived there. I pay $800 a month for a small one bedroom apartment. It doesn't even include utility bills.
I live in lancaster ohio i was shocked you said Chillicothe
New york NJ California can learn from all this..
Kinda glad I’m not the only one who goes to my parents house and eat their food too 😂
hmm i would love to live in a small town, in a nice old building for that price. :) it looks really lovely! only issue is, am i really going to be able to find a job in that small town? or one that pays enough to cover my expenses? this is definitely a great option for people who work online, others, im not so sure.
$664 a month for a rent here in the Philippines is already huge. Usually people pay $100- $200 a month here for there rent and usually with such, it already includes Electric and water bills. Yet the thing is it's not an apartment its for a space yet sometimes if your lucky you can have that price ($100- $200 a month) for an entire house. However it doesn't include Electricity and water but water bills and electric bills here in PH can be as less than $20 a month, well if u have Appliances then it varies
Great video cuz I’m on the last straw in my house wit mom and I need a new place to stay
right there with ya, i wanna live on my own might end up living in the ghetto but hell if I can do away with roomates at the cost of possible trash living I'd do it
Chicago prices for a one bed room ranges from 850-1,300 depending on location
California for a studio in the decent part of the city starts at 3k 😲😲 & 2 bd goes for $7,000 monthly . Welcome to Cali 🌴
It’s tough out here in IL. Tough.
🤯 lucky!
I laughed at the rent...... I live in NYC and yea
Same.
thanks.....
I am 20 years old and my rent and and utilities together is around 1,100 a month but that is not including food, gas, ect.
small towns are the best. i live in a fairly large town in tennessee and i pay about a grand with utilities for a 650 sq 1 bedroom in downtown. studios are as cheap as 600-700
how many times can u say downtown in one video 🤔🤔 BUT LOVE UR CUTE LIL APARTMENT 💜💜💜💜
Meghan Helton hey you haten? And thank you😁
I live in Connecticut and I lived in a hotel for four months saving for my apartment. Fastfoward 9 months and I am able to have my own space in my apartment.
Good space for thst low.
Rent here is 3 times that for a small 1 bedroom or studio without utilities LOL
My rent here in the Philippines while in college is about 30 dollars for a month and it's already kinda expensive for me.
Bro?! Less than 700 bucks holy shiiiii in GA that will get you a shitty apartment. You’re living the life
I live in california and the cheapest you can get is a 1bed 1bath for 1500 with no utilities
as someone who lives in philly I was guessing your rent would be like 12 or 13 hundred
I lol'd when you said 600
I love u Levi Kelly ❤💘😘🥰😍
What do you do to pay
Wow come to California, $3000 starting for a studio a month . A 2 bedroom is $7000. I don’t know how anyone can afford that . I pay $1000 to rent a room in the inner city in Ventura Ca where there is homicides/violence 😔
rent is amazing!!!!
So how many square feet is the apartment?
I too would have chosen to live there if I could but I'm stuck in a godforsaken third world country called Turkey where a Turkish Lira is 7 Dollars pain in the ass to even exist with our crumbling economy if you ask me I would do anything to live in a small town like yours or anywhere else... I hate living here, I hate everything about it the people, the economy, the politics, the cost of living, and the expensiveness of the most mundane items.
Save up, and try to move out. If not, try to make content creation or online businesses and networking and building virtual skill assets so you can at least get enough to move to your dream.
Make it happen, dont give up.

600 can you get a you room....for 1 night in a cheap south beach hotel here in Miami 😒
Yha its basically asking you to be friends with somebody or date somebody to just live on your own.
600 at month in Miami gets you a newspaper under a brigde
$600 of rent. In Los Angeles, a shithole, a studio is almost $2000 monthly utilities not included in an area where there are homeless and druggies camping on the street of your apartment.
how many square feet is your apartment?
Theres no way in hell that you have an apartment like THAT for $600 in an historical town! I live in Charleston SC and the cost of living here is like $1000 a month for the apartment alone. And Its technically a small town.
1:30 - 1:35 living the dream right there
That's a really cute place, with character, I like the entry way.....but I couldn't live in an area that gets that cold, I don't like snow.
