Couple things at least to include would be Car Insurance, (mine as a 27 year old male is somewhat high even with minimal coverage) around $90, and then Gas money which depends how much you wanna go out, around 75-100 I'd say at least, also whatever hobbies you may want to do as well would cost something as well. Of course we can't just stay bored 24/7 gotta have stuff to do!
/edit also you have to factor in that with the price of rent etc it also very much depends on what your location is (obviously to some of us) because of job opportunity and average income. So like in california, LA then it could be as much as like 5 grand just for a studio apartment, but also careers around there are the real money makers. Really averages out in the end more or less. Good idea too, would be to commute from a lower cost area...
To where the money making jobs would be. Here a lot of people do that from counties outside of King county to work in seattle while living somewhere more peaceful and cheaper.
Hope this helped everyone. And good luck!

In order to live on your own your going to need good budgeting skills with saving/spending whatnot and have a good paying job at least a few bucks or so above minimum wage. I'll be working soon in a lumber factory that pays 19 an hour starting out and after getting settled in for some time you can move up planned on doing the logging get over 30 an hour. Easily be able to afford an apartment then after some time has passed save up for a house. Obviously easier said than done but that's the route I'm going love the area I live in it's beautiful and I get to enjoy the beautiful forest before it gets burned down by monkeys.

Yet the thing is it's not an apartment its for a space yet sometimes if your lucky you can have that price ($100- $200 a month) for an entire house. However it doesn't include Electricity and water but water bills and electric bills here in PH can be as less than $20 a month, well if u have Appliances then it varies

Wow come to California, $3000 starting for a studio a month . A 2 bedroom is $7000. I don’t know how anyone can afford that . I pay $1000 to rent a room in the inner city in Ventura Ca where there is homicides/violence 😔

I too would have chosen to live there if I could but I'm stuck in a godforsaken third world country called Turkey where a Turkish Lira is 7 Dollars pain in the ass to even exist with our crumbling economy if you ask me I would do anything to live in a small town like yours or anywhere else... I hate living here, I hate everything about it the people, the economy, the politics, the cost of living, and the expensiveness of the most mundane items.

Save up, and try to move out. If not, try to make content creation or online businesses and networking and building virtual skill assets so you can at least get enough to move to your dream.
Make it happen, dont give up.

$600 of rent. In Los Angeles, a shithole, a studio is almost $2000 monthly utilities not included in an area where there are homeless and druggies camping on the street of your apartment.

Theres no way in hell that you have an apartment like THAT for $600 in an historical town! I live in Charleston SC and the cost of living here is like $1000 a month for the apartment alone. And Its technically a small town.
