    I'm from Northern California, I surfed as a teen... you know, when you're invincible 🙄 and I stopped surfing when it dawned on me that being in a Great White's kitchen, dressed in a seal costume (wetsuit, surfboard...) and splashing around? Yeah, not the wisest idea. I mean, people don't put on Impala or Zebra costumes and go for a jog in the African Savanna. Who knows? Maybe they do.

      Ppl always try too hard. It's like just use your common sense. Use your brains. Ok. But that's not what ppl say when they're in traffic... But anyways, how r u suppose to use ur brains when u encounter a shark and u barely even see em. Simplifying things is like how about I just don't go all together. So many things in life is energy when ppl give directions & then say ish like u can't miss it ... Meanwhile ppl in their every day life... It's like I got distracted by the majestic perverted dolphin. How did I know jaws was supposed to be behind flipper. Although I guess worse comes to worse I think the only thing I got going is to punch in it's "snout?"

    "They are not targeting humans" The problem is when great whites sharks are not sure if something is food, they give it a test bite. That bite is enough to bleed a human to death and it has. But then there is the video of the Australian swimmer who got attacked by a great white and the shark tore him to pieces.

Last year a man was attacked and killed by a great white on the cape. Couple years earlier someone else was attacked but lived and several years ago two kayakers were attacked in the bay. they were knocked out of their kayaks and were rescued unharmed but were scared to death and rightly so. All of this was reported in the news.

    It’s not only in them .. according to:

    2] The fear and dread of you (Humanity) will be upon EVERY: wild animal,
    EVERY: bird in the air,
    EVERY: creature populating the ground,
    and ..
    ALL .. the fish in the sea; they have been handed over to you (as food 🥘).
    The Yellowstone “WOLF” was next on segment .. Did you SEE .. the FEAR in the animal as it RAN .. out of the cage (/ Crate)?

    Protecting a species is important, yes, but environmentalists also need to admit that this is a problem. Sure, sharks aren't trying to eat humans, and shark attacks are very rare, but multiple people have already died. I'm sorry but a few human lives are more important than a few hundred sharks. We should at least be having an honest conversation about the pros and cons of stepping in and reducing the number of these killer animals.

    • @blackmagicks
      @blackmagicks Před 3 lety +12

      Sharks are janitors of the ocean. They eat all the weak and diseased animals and they keep the oceans alive. If sharks disappear then smaller fish will reproduce like crazy and eat all the algae that is essential for oceans. Our oceans produce a huge portion of our oxygen and without them we wouldnt have oxygen to breathe. If sharks die then humanity will die. There is a reason why sharks exist.
      There are aleady millions and millions of sharks killed each year and scientists need to do whatever they can to protect them. Sharks are not a problem unless your work is abalone diving or something like that. If you want to relax and go for a swim, do it in a pool.

    • @stefpix
      @stefpix Před 3 lety +2

      Probably a white shark would consume part of a human after they bleed out, most humans who are bitten are promptly rescued. White sharks are also present in locations where there are no seals. They have a varied diet and are opportunistic feeders. They may eat tuna, stingrays, seals, dolphins and so on. I imagine a human tastes closer to a seal than to a stingray, as mammalian meat does not taste so different.

    • @generictoasterstroodle1080
      @generictoasterstroodle1080 Před 3 lety +6

      I agree humans are more important, but not in this case. If you know the risk and you are in the ocean purely for recreation, you must know the risk. We can’t let sharks die out simply because they scare us. We need to preserve and protect our environment.

    • @MS-tz1ml
      @MS-tz1ml Před 3 lety

      @@generictoasterstroodle1080 "Let sharks die out?" Please be more careful not to misrepresent my words. Though my initial comment was sufficiently clear, I will clarify further: We already actively control (by reduction) the populations of many species in a variety of ways - not just wild animals like deer and rabbit, but also domestic animals like dogs and cats. It is a complex matter with many different methodologies as well as pros and cons. You cannot hope to resolve complex matters without open minded discussion.

    • @generictoasterstroodle1080
      @generictoasterstroodle1080 Před 3 lety +2

      @@MS-tz1ml Yes that wasn’t your intention, but we need the conservation effort significantly. We don’t have control over it. Chinese fishing vessels have been taking very large numbers of sharks for their fins for a very popular Chinese and Vietnamese soup (shark fin soup). We have no control over that and poaching sharks is still a common occurrence. They have been being drastically cut down in numbers and are extremely important for the ecosystem. We shouldn’t keep their numbers low just for human convenience. Sure the beach is lovely but we have pools and safe places to swim for those scared of shark attacks, which are very low and sharks won’t target you, you are very unlikely to be attacked by one anyways. China won’t stop killing these creatures so it’s up to conservation efforts like us to keep them around. Besides, how is it fair to let their species stay at a lower population just so humans can have a very small risk deduction at a beach?
