How to carve a 3-D Pumpkin

- My buddy Kenny over at 3-D Head Custom Paints is a Man of several talents...one of his talents is Pumpkin carving...I asked him to show me how it was do..of course he agreed...very cool video...check it out!

Two good TIPS for your pumpkin:
1.) I find that when you are finished with your pumpkin, carving and painting and what have you, give it a coat of hair spray. It protects your hard work and keeps the paint from coming off in your hands and your pumpkin from getting old moldy and funky.
2.) If you plan on putting in a candle then use tin foil on the bottom part of the lid and put in some air holes in the lid to keep your pumpkin from burning up.

Really amazing job! Now I can't wait till next Halloween to give something like this a try.
You should make a coffee table type book of these pumpkins with loads of pictures and explanations of the techniques you use as well as the tools. I bet they'd sell pretty well around Halloween for all those out there with an artistic flair.

Was good, A bit too much commentary for me, but that's me. Seems if you cut 2/3 of the chatter I would have watched it all the way through instead of skipping to where there was some advancement made. Cool video and caught some pointers.

Pumpkin carving boils down to patience. Strange to say it but its actually ALOT like tattooing. Takes alot of foresight to plan a good design.

This guy most definitely has some serious skills but its very time consuming and you obvious need a good eye in order to mold the pumpkin the way you want it.
