Homemade scissor lift table

- I built my basic scissor lift table out of 2.5"x2.5"x3/16" angle iron, 2"x3/8" flat bar, 1/2" threaded rod/bolts, 2.5" cast iron wheels, and 3" castors. I used a mechanical screw drive for its simplicity and reliability over speed.
This is great and can be adapted to lift the roof of a tiny house for more head space in the loft. Thanks for sharing!
Your design is awesome. Great job Sir.
Thank you for sharing with a lot of details
Nicely done. You always kept safety in mind
this is very helpful for my diy camper project. thanks.

Hola amigo! es muy buena, simple y funcional!! Gracias por compartir!! Saludos desde la Patagonia Argentina!
Hola! Sabes como es el mecanismo? No entiendo como al girar ese fierrito sube y baja
That would be so useful in my shop. I will get out my everlast welder and make one!
Gracias por compartir. Thanks for sharing. Keep up your mastery.

thanks men congrats
Love the simple ones, great build, thanks for sharing that! I'll probably build something like that for a motorcycle lift.
my thoughts too.Been looking for a well built yet simple design and I think this is it.
Wow good idea
Hello Sir
Just wondering how can I make same cart but with hydraulic with 12v pump or 12v winch cable .
The environment I work needs fast response

great
thanks a lot
Nice work. I'd caution against the use of an impact gun when lifting something heavy, they tend to ruin the threaded parts.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf recently xD
@Brendan Ty Yea, been using instaflixxer for months myself =)
Thats cool, to be able to lift weight by screwing a nut. But whats the Maximum amount of weight it can lift? And how much impact does the weight have on the impact driver?
very nice and cheap
Which material it's chassis made of
Está de huevos, good job!! :*
I need something like this to lift an electric wheelchair to drive it on the back of my truck. (About 300lbs).
can you please tell me the dimensions that u have taken
the best
Have you started selling plans for this table yet?

Im not stealing your design. I myself had designed 3 different versions hand drawn and with full detail of what you did before i saw your video. So well who cares? It's for the good of everyone great video!
very good jop
Sou de Brazil gostaria de aprender a fazer um desse elevador um abraço
I need help?
Ideal. When you're building for a single purpose it's important to build as simple as possible. Now, can you come over to my place to help my lift a new "above the range microwave" into place so we can make the attachment? I can sweep out your shop in exchange . . .
Weld the socket to the nut so you don’t have to find it every time
Can I have your plans?
Archimedes has invented this idea long long time ago
Everything old is new again....except for my tired old bones, I mean........................
it is a good representation of the idea made into a useful device
this mechanism is robust - similar to a car lifting jack
tudo peca pela falta da tradução
what is the max load? can it lift a transmission?
I know it can lift 500lbs no problem. I limit it to 800lbs max with a even/centered load, and 400lbs max at maximum height because of the cantilevered design. Sure it probably can handle a lot more but I'm not destroying just to test it limitations! :)
what maximum weight which it is possible to pick up with help of the drill
Łukasz Czytoważne we just lifted a 700lb die and rolled it gently to our table without a problem.
really with the help of this cordles drill from 0:51, did you lift 700 kg up?
sorry was supposed to be 700 lbs
Hello
اوكي
You said 800lb capacity, I'd be worried about the rating on those wheels/casters
Cool table, but thumbs down for no plans...
''homemade''

By the way this Not your design.First off this design has been around longer than you even appear to be(over 50 +yrs.). It's a very easy concept design that has been configured in so many ways.
I think you mean that I didn't invent it, but this is certainly my design. I designed my cart with odd sized surplus material, and I'm not taking liability for someone hurting themselves trying to copy my design. There can be thousands of different designs based on one invention, but if someone copies a design than it's a copy. Thanks for watching and good luck if you're building a cart!
How much for plans
