#Python
I love that you start off with the basics of actually getting python installed/loaded and touching on some of the different editors. Seems like every other series jumps right into coding but an absolute beginner needs this setup to have a place to start. I'm still confused by Jupyter Notebook but will figure that out eventually. Thanks!
I saw one of your other tutorials that was too advanced for me, but still informative. I can tell you're the guy to learn from; didn't waste any time with fluff. Thank you, I look forward to diving in to your lectures.
Thanks. Good luck on your path of learning Python :)
You suggest advance level tutorial Link . Any tutor name . . it will will be helpful for me

100% credit to you bro.. You made me love python. Before i came across your tutorial, i was not a fan of the programming language.. You brought a realization to my life.. Thank you man. God bless you!
From Kenya!
I'm literally crossing my fingers hoping you will keep your other videos in this python course as good as this. Very informative, very throughout! thank you!
Corey, it would be AMAZING if you created a series on creational, structural, and behavioral patterns in python. I've done a bit of looking and there isn't much content out there and your videos are the BEST.
Hi Corey,
Definitely worth a watch series on Python.. Great work done. Every detail (high to low level details) covered so nicely that even a newbie can get through all details so easily..
Thank You so much for the great work.

I second that !!! VERY TRUE for myself as well ...
That's concerning. How did your intro to programming class never get further than installing the environment and writing hello world?
Coming in during 2020. One cool thing you helped me realize is the connection between text editor, terminal, and directory/files. This relationship helps me gain a deeper understanding of the relationship of these important tools. You also helped me realize that there is more than one way of getting something done!
Thank you for this. Not new to programming, but new to Python. You made getting started a little bit easier.

Hi Corey... I'm especially grateful to you for your series on Python. Great content. Thank you teacher.
I'm currently a Chemical Engineering student and only have a "looked at it" level knowledge with MATLAB. I wanted to learn some programming and I have just subscribed!
so, how is it going :)
@@hasansolak23 i want to know too lol
What did you learn so far?
For the mac users: If you're running the Catalina OS or onwards, you'll have to edit the .zprofile file instead of .bash_profile to add the python alias. Macs have recently changed from bash to zsh.
thanks mate :)

This and all your videos are great! Thanks a bunch!
I'm just starting to learn Python. THANK YOU for this awesome series!
Watched a lot of your videos and now came back to comment here.
Your videos are the best. I am glad I found your channel.
Please do a tutorial series on Django framework.
Great work, Corey! Like the direct approach, examples and resources.
I generally have to put every video on a 2x speed to utilize time. But with this video, it wasn't the case. It was crisp, to the point and every second was important. Thanks for valuing our time and of course, the knowledge you imparted.
cool video Corey. glad to see new videos from you!
Corey, you have exceptional teaching ability. Thank you!

Hello there, thank you for creating these tutorials, they're really helpful and better than any books in my opinion, so thank you very much!! ^^
I am a complete newby to python and I need to edit a .mpy file. I have spent several hours trying to find info on how to do this, and in 5 minutes you gave me more useful information than all my laborious endeavors. thank you so Much!
Excellent video that answers a question most new to coding have "Where does all this stuff live on my computer?".
Most tutorials dive straight into writing code which is like teaching someone how to do joinery without telling them what tools they will need and why.
You rock, Corey, for this simple and easy-to-follow intro. Thank you!!!
You are fantastic! love your style, very lucid and point straight.
Thanks!

Why would people dislike this ? He's just helping others...
Shouldn't take it close to heart. The tutorials are superb but there's just many sad people out there who will dislike literally everything they see, even short clips of a cute dog or whatever (that they chose to click on specifically).
As long as the dislikes are in minority, you know the video is going to be good :)
@@ravense8337 I'm not sure if Corey still checks these comments so I'm asking you in case you know. It shouldn't really matter but I want to use Atom instead of Sublime text. Will I be able to keep up with his beginner tutorials as he said he'd be using Sublime text. And also, the script package doesn't show up in atom when I search for it. Only 4 results show up. The first one being something like Coffee-Java-Scrip. What do I do ? Please help me if you can.
Edit - Nevermind I'll just use Sublime text.
Lol if you had a video curing cancer and solving world hunger would still be dislikes. Just goes to show you not everyone will like what you do or be satisfied

Glad I found your videos. You explain things very well.
You're doing a great job Corey. Thanks a lot. I would say yours is a great tutorial
Great introduction. Thank you. I will be recommending this video to anyone I know looking to start programming in Python. I use Emacs extensively, mostly for org-mode, and I have little experience programming. Are there any advantages to using text editors over IDE's?
No real advantages other than simplicity. I use editors for quickly coding projects, but if I need debugging or anything like that then I'll turn to an IDE
For the Windows folks who can't figure out why they can't open the intro.py on the CMD, it's because Windows has been using the OneDrive. This means that the command used should be changed from:

I'm running 3.6.2 and I can't type "python -- version" on my Windows cmd, I have to just type "py" or "python" to see what version is installed. I wish things didn't change so much between versions as it makes tutorials obsolete. The thing is, I didn't even know you had to just type "py" I found out after doing a google search because I was stuck.
