Kevin and Prof Eugene discuss the International Criminal Court (ICC)’s plans to seek arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli and Hamas leaders, alleging they are responsible for war crimes in Gaza and Israel.
Karim Khan, the chief prosecutor, accused Israel of using “starvation as a method of warfare” and carrying out “collective punishment” of the population of Gaza.
Regarding the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, he said the terrorist actions were “unconscionable crimes” that “demand accountability”.
Prof Eugene says this “discredits the ICC”.

The ICC built a very strong and detailed case against hamas.
For events which started at least October 7th, and are on going to this day.
It is important to make it clear.

Israel said that even if hamas released the hostages they would continue their bombardment
Yes, their stated aim was to destroy HAMAS, the hostages while important were not and cannot be their primary objective, to leave HAMAS bin place, as an effective fighting force, one that has vowed to repeat Oct 7th type attacks time and time again if given the opportunity, would simply leave other innocent Israelis open to being killed and taken hostage, the cycle of violence would continue.
