I was in a remote part of Western Australia travelling with a German friend.
A young women joined us to chat. For many hours. In my parlance she 'chewed my ears off'. But he shared with me a perfect German expression, which I understood on many levels, despite speaking only a little German:
    "Sie rede wie ein Wasserfall."

I'm Norwegian and I noticed that we have very similar insult words, for example "ekel", which in Norwegian is "ekkel" (disgusting) and "drecksack" which is very similar to the Norwegian equivalent "drittsekk", which also means "dirt bag". I'm a linguist nerd and very interested in language similarities, particulary similarities between Germanic languages, as I speak one myself as my mother tongue and I also tend to learn Germanic languages faster than non-Germanic languages.

As a German I have to complain about the translation of "Sackgesicht". Usually Sack=bag but it also ist a Word for testicles, which is exactly what this insult alludes to/on (not sure what is right). So the correct translation actually is "testicle face".

Arsch ist sprachwissenschaftlich gesehen ein Synonym für die Gebärmutter, wobei hier das Geschlecht im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit, persönliche Ehre, Loyalität und Familieren Wurzel und Standhaftigkeit, Erziehung usw. im Vordergrund steht, das Loch aber steht für die leere oder fehlende Potentialität der bezugswort und somit in Kombination die eigentliche Bedeutung des Wortes also das "Arschloch" sich leicht erklären lässt.

You translate the insults literally so they don't make sence anymore. For example "pisser" refers to little kids who pie their pants. "Sackgesicht" refers to makle testicles so that would be something like ball-face. In spanist you have the expression "cara de picha" wich means "Pimmelgesicht" which is somewhat similar.

Just to explain you guys the insult of being called a HONK: in German it means: Hauptschüler Ohne Nennenswerte Kenntnisse.
It translates to a stupid students from a low rated type of school who has no actual talents or knowledge.
It’s quite discriminating to those people who actually need to go to this kind of school, because they are naturally not very clever.
Hope I could help you a bit 🙈🤗

Nicoletta Ciccone - Don't get too excited, it just means "pig dog"... Unless you put a lot of emphasis on it, like stomping your foot while you say it, maybe even pointing your finger and snarling. The trick is to make it sound much worse by adding theatrics. 😄 I like being helpful.
