"Ass Violin"... That's a good one right there.
Waffen ϟϟ Soldat Nazi oder warum heißt du so?
@@erikeilingsfeld5284 Warum fragst du oder Sod off!
We need to make this a thing in English.
@Bloom SosAssLeviLeopuncher woher willst du das wissen?
@Bloom SosAssLeviLeopuncher dass er kein nazi ist
The English language ist not nearly as creative as German when it comes to insults. You could make a ten hour video with nonstop cusswords.
I know this comment is two years old, but I just discovered a gem today. "Blockflötengesicht." SO FUNNY!
Su
Ok

GUYS PLEASE DONT USE THIS WORDS IN GERMANY!!!!! EVRYONE WILL LAUGH ABOUT YOU!
Niklas0815 That was the point
Niklas0815 unless you know how to use them 😜. Then again, that would make me the one that is supposed to laugh.
Even as an austrian I had to laugh about how funny our language sounds sometimes
wtf am i the only person that doesnt speak German here?
+Stinking Orpheus Ja.
+Stinking Orpheus nitch (no, you aren't im learning lol)
yeah, you are...? :'D
I even spelled that german word wrong.. oops
+Froggy Power And you used the wrong one ;)
Use "nein" (= no) instead of "nicht" (= not)
How do you say, 'Your mother was a hamster and your father smells of Elderberry'?
Monty pyton😂😂😂

I fart in your general direction
I was in a remote part of Western Australia travelling with a German friend.
A young women joined us to chat. For many hours. In my parlance she 'chewed my ears off'. But he shared with me a perfect German expression, which I understood on many levels, despite speaking only a little German:
"Sie rede wie ein Wasserfall."
🤔😂
Your missing a "t" in "rede" should be "redet wie ein Wasserfall"...
That said, not really up to date German speak....
I'm Norwegian and I noticed that we have very similar insult words, for example "ekel", which in Norwegian is "ekkel" (disgusting) and "drecksack" which is very similar to the Norwegian equivalent "drittsekk", which also means "dirt bag". I'm a linguist nerd and very interested in language similarities, particulary similarities between Germanic languages, as I speak one myself as my mother tongue and I also tend to learn Germanic languages faster than non-Germanic languages.
there are videos that explain this kinda influendes perfectly! Let's say that even the english language has been influended greatly us and latin/romanic.
A thousand years ago (a few hundred years after displacing the Roman Empire in Anglia had left Latin traces) before the A.D. 1066 Norman Conquest three-century tsunami of Frenchification, English in England (then Anglalond) was Anglo Saxon. It is a West Low Germanic language.
Didrick Namtvedt its because our language is almost thesame !
Didrick Namtvedt because German and languages like yours, others like dutch , English all came from once branch Germanic .... if you can speak any of these languages chances are you can learn the others easily... they say Dutch is the easiest to learn for English speakers.
I understand that! My dad's mother was Polish and all those Yiddish insults she spouted when I knew her! In the few years I knew her she may have been old and senile but boy was she a brilliant mench, rest her soul 18 years now!
I think calling an unpleasant woman a "bitch" is an insult to dogs. Most female dogs are quite pleasant and likable.
zoophile detected
twwarrior333
You just HAD to go there. Saying someone is likable is not the same as "i want to fuck them".
There are far more people I consider pleasant and likable than those I want to fuck.
Eric Taylor Relax, just joking :)
(its funny to me because your post sounded like you liked the dogs more than women)
twwarrior333
haha Funny thing is I don't really like dogs much. Even so most dogs are better "people" than most humans.
Eric Taylor Probably... but did you know they "descended" from wolves? Without us, they'd still be wild animals. Maybe in million years, dogs will evolve their brains like us and will even more evil than us. Lol just thinking randomly out loud, sorry.
I love how she pronounces categories like “ka-teegaries”.
I felt that this girl was going to cry :((
Yeah, i thought i was the only one thinking that :(

How about Gesäßvioline? xD
Also, I think "Sackgesicht" can't really be translated as "bag face", as it doesn't really mean that kind of "sack"
it would be "Balls -face "
***** wer?
+DarkWiiPlayer Sackgesich would be Translatet with Douchbag and not bagface

That was awesome. My mom never taught us the insults. We had to catch them now and then when she would get angry at us kids. :) Keep the videos coming.
All of this and your channel is still the most wholesome I've ever found on CZcams.
Never stop doing videos I love and admire u so much!!!
For me as a German it was pretty funny to hear all these mainly old-fashioned but funny insults. Thank you for making this video! :)
And I have to add: You speak and pronounce German words very well; sounds like a person born in Germany would have said! Respect to you!
Liebe Grüße,

I've always wanted to learn German. I've always thought it sounded cool, and thanks to this video I know what my Austrian friend has been calling us. thanks for the insight 😂😂😂
An absolute classic Trixi production ❤️
Two things: I'm learning German and I found this video quite useful. If I am to communicate with a native speaker more effectively it is important to know the slang as much as what is considered "proper". So thank you. Oh and secondly, you're gorgeous!!!
Thank you for this! In my D&D campaign I'm playing a dwarf barbarian who doesn't speak common so well, so he resorts back to his "native" tongue a lot. This list will really help shape and create a multi-dimensional character. You're amazing!!
As a German I have to complain about the translation of "Sackgesicht". Usually Sack=bag but it also ist a Word for testicles, which is exactly what this insult alludes to/on (not sure what is right). So the correct translation actually is "testicle face".
Well, if you are going that direction that in English it would be pecker face which suggests your face looks like a penis, LOL
Looked for that comment
I think she was trying to keep the breeching of PC to a minimum.

"Grobian" is very similar to russian word "Groobian" which means a rude person :D
your funniest video
by far
I watch it twice a day
i rly liked ur video . especially that you're explaining in English so we can understand better and learn ..thank you..you're so sweet ♡
now I feel insulted - you are literally telling all insults to me while watching into my eyes :'(
I'll go to my bed now. My eyes are sweating.
Ha
It took a few seconds for "ass violin" to sink in but I died when it did
I love your videos!
Du machst das echt klasse!Hab mich sehr amüsiert.😊
Every word in German sounds like an insult.

Du Fili!!
Depends on who's talking. Everything this beauty says sounds like honey.
All the speaches of Hitler though, sounds like he's just cursing someone.
(Which he probably did)
But I understand what you mean.
If I say "SCHMETTERLING" in German - you'd probably think I was
talking about a machine gun or something that would kill a lot of people
real fast and ugly !
It actually means : "a Butterfly" !
+O Lympic hahahahaha

I'm looking at this old video and I notice your English has greatly improved. Wow!
Trixie, are these phrases made up by you that you like to use or are they commonly used by most people? Also, do insults vary depending on which part of Germany you're from? Thanks! You're videos are great and is helping improve my German!!
i like you soooooooo much .. i'm from syria and i live in passau .. ich lerne deatsch jetzt bei der vhs schule .. and i learned a lot of important funny things from your videos .. danke sehr .. i wish you going on with those nice videos
Aww, thank you so much for this comment. :) Alles Gute beim Deutschlernen! I will go on with them. Have a wonderful day! :3
vielen dank .. i have a lot of freinds from diffrent countries like spain,kruatia,vitnam,mexico.......
they are also learning german with me and i already shared your videos with them .. they like you a lot like i do
thank you .. with all my best wishes
lol, learning important things from a video spewing insults at you
as opposed to you, hurling insults at people that are at least making an effort to improve. You miserable little shit... lol.

I prefer "Kommunisten Schwein" that's my favorite insult
Flyz it Dies xD
russians were also called „ivans“, ivan because thats just a generic russian name and the s for the plural
David Schu haha
Whats that? Something pig

jajajaja you're still great with this video. So much to learn from you and Deutschland. Saludos y sigue asi conejita.
This video has been a huge inspiration for me. It really makes me want to travel to Germany so I can have a lot of fun using these insults.
I LOVE that German has the word "Fusshupe"!
English doesn't have a word specifically for dogs like that. I've gotten used to calling them punt-punt dogs (they're so small you could punt them like a football)
Thanks for the info!
Where I live we prefer to call these dogs "Trethupe", which would mean "step honk" :D
Rick Mitchell ankle biters.
Elizabeth Butler when I think of "ankle biters", I think of children.
In my family (in USA, Pennsylvania specifically) we call them yip yip dogs. That's how they sound to us.
i call these dogs " Ratte mit Fönfrisur " ( Rat with hairstyle )
I think you do wonderful and you certainly don’t need to apologize so much! You are fantastic and most importantly thank you! Vundebar
Very funny and instructive. Understanding insults is always useful and enables to understand a bit more of the culture.

You are funny af. Great video
Dein Video hat mich voll runtergezogen
To those who don't understand German, since you hear the word " douche" you can start Beating.
HAHAHAHA
You translate the insults literally so they don't make sence anymore. For example "pisser" refers to little kids who pie their pants. "Sackgesicht" refers to makle testicles so that would be something like ball-face. In spanist you have the expression "cara de picha" wich means "Pimmelgesicht" which is somewhat similar.
Hey! very instructive, it's super good to know the slang, I love it
😂trixi you so cute acting for learning. I really liked. thank you for your cool videos
When she said "Your a crazy guy" I was like WOAH.
Spot on English.
Suspicious...
And when she says "and a classic..."
Well, she does say to not trust the rabbit, and we all know that she's the rabbit.
Beautiful teacher thanks for your efforts
I laughed a lot. You are very good at this. I'm still trying to figure out what an "ass violin" is!! hahahaaha
You: "don't actually use these"
Me: calls a mexican an ape immediately
..when cursing in english you just sound like Phoebe from “Friends”. 😊
This a new amazing channel I've discovered this video and subbed
I called one of my "friends" a armleutcher. He deserved it
I love your videos, you're funny
Wow, this may be my next favorite video. Already I see where some English words came from. Insults seem to be the first words people hear and learn. Sorry, I can't promise I'll not use any of them. But I don't blame you.
It's always the first... :D
I lived in Germany for four years, very young during the Cold War. I'm surprised by sounds I have not heard since, and much more surprised by words that are what I had thought they mean.
I feel that you were unhappy when you made this video. Perhaps an emotional distress. I hope you are feeling better. Most people may not have noticed but I am sensitive to the pain others feel. Perhaps I am wrong and that would be toll. Just know we care.
You are a gifted mind! That makes youtube decent even for me. Thank you.
BRILLIANT!! - nuff said! Echt genial ....100% SUPER gemacht! Respekt!

Trixie, some of these are so funny, I'm surprised the Deutsch don't have an insult like "you 1959 Edsel." LOL!
you're awesome , loved it
Mein Lieblingswort ist Handschuhschneeballwerfer.

lustmolch - pleasure newt really topped it off for me

Its correct when you say:
"Als ich in Deutschland mein erstes Praktikum angefangen habe, hat mein Chef mir gesagt: du bist eine faule Socke. Nach drei Jahren habe ich es noch nicht vergessen"
you use es and not das.
Then it's perfect

That´s how I would frame it.
Just to explain you guys the insult of being called a HONK: in German it means: Hauptschüler Ohne Nennenswerte Kenntnisse.
It translates to a stupid students from a low rated type of school who has no actual talents or knowledge.
It’s quite discriminating to those people who actually need to go to this kind of school, because they are naturally not very clever.
Hope I could help you a bit 🙈🤗
no, actually it just means idiot

Schafkopf! Blockhead, Dumbhead, Literal Sheephead
Schwein-Hund is one of the worst insults you can possibly say. It was used by the Nazis as a degrading slur to describe Jewish People during WWII.
Nicoletta Ciccone - Don't get too excited, it just means "pig dog"... Unless you put a lot of emphasis on it, like stomping your foot while you say it, maybe even pointing your finger and snarling. The trick is to make it sound much worse by adding theatrics. 😄 I like being helpful.
+Janson Gander I think the pork content combined with canine content will probably suffice. lol
+Bulbasaur Productions It is still very popular. Like driving Volkswagen cars (devised by the Nazis to allow German people to go driving around Germany).
