I saw a vid earlier today of Smith playing this on some awful morning show local TV channel with his banged up Yamaha FG-160. I love old Yamaha FGs, but you could barely hear him OR his guitar, to appreciate the appeal of this melody, and it's nice to hear it clearly here. A lovely tune.
this is really clean and well done. Random request but I've been trying to learn Talking to Mary by Elliott for ages and just can't get it accurate enough, particularly the arpeggiations in the intro. If you could take a stab at it at some point I'd be eminently grateful.
