1965 C10 ignition switch with ACC (accessory) position installation

The 1963 through 1966 Chevy C10 ignition switches did not have an accessory position. In this video I install an ignition switch for a 1961 through 1963 Chevy Impala which does have an accessory position. Both the key lock and wiring connector fit perfectly.

What is the copper thing that comes with the ignition switch for?

The impala has a back light on the ignition switch. The copper thing holds the lamp socket. Not used on the C10s
