    The camille rose rice milk leave in is such a fire super moisturizing product. I haven't used the almond jai twisting butter tho, I've gotta try it out because your braidout came out gorgeous!

    I make my sections a lot smaller thinking I’ll get more volume but it may be causing more frizz. Next time I’ll try 3 rows the way you did instead of 4.

    Do you detangle and re-braid throughout the week or do you just wait until next wash day? Also how often do you wash your hair?

    I love your braid outs....my hair becomes stretched with no curls when I braid🤦🏿‍♀️ any tips?

    • @aliciaallen2340
      @aliciaallen2340 Před 2 lety +2

      Maybe your hair isn’t damp enough to get the curl pattern to form, trying wetting your hair more, or try braiding tighter

    • @jackywairegi2316
      @jackywairegi2316 Před 2 lety +2

      @@aliciaallen2340 I'll try that.

    • @AbbieCurls
      @AbbieCurls  Před 2 lety +4

      yes, try to make sure your hairs completely wet before you braid. that way your hair will shrink into the shape of the braid as it dries which will make more of a curl pattern

      @@AbbieCurls ok thanks. My hair is fine and high porosity. It is also a combo of textures from 3b to 4b. I am yet to figure out how to get a good braid out. Maybe less is more. Will put leave in and one good moisturiser and try it again. Your hair looks great by the way

    Would you say the amount of almond jai you showed is the amount you use on each section?

    • @AbbieCurls
      @AbbieCurls  Před 2 lety +1

    Hello. How do you get your hair not to start drying out as your braiding other sections? By the time I get to the top sections, my hair is drying out and difficult to part and I'm left with re wetting and detangling again lol.

    • @AbbieCurls
      @AbbieCurls  Před 2 lety +1

      I have low porosity hair so it takes forever to dry so I don't end up having to rewet it. It's not normal to have to rewet your hair though so don't see it as a problem. in terms of tangles, try putting your hair in chunky twists to avoid it tangling up whilst your working on other sections

    • @elleamores3782
      @elleamores3782 Před 2 lety +1

      @@AbbieCurls It's not normal for it to dry....? What does it mean if it's drying quickly?

      I know I’m a little late but hopefully I can help. If you find your hair starts drying as your doing other sections, try putting it up in a clip and put a shower cap over that section until you’re ready for it. Take the next section you need and repeat.

      Hey Yonettii the same thing happens to me as I work form the bottom up. I've learned to just respray it and that's okay! I've also did done A F's method before by using a plastic cap, but both can work

    I would suggest you look into fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.
