The majestic and fabulous Castle of Vincigliata dominates the historic center of Florence, set as it is in a very panoramic and convenient location. Finely and masterfully restored at the end of the 19th century, the castle (2,300 sqm) has a very ancient and rich history spanning almost a millennium: since its inception in 1031 it has been reworked and embellished into a charming and unique gem that was used as a background for once-in-a-lifetime events and ceremonies.

The exterior and interior shots of the castle made this medieval history lover want to cry. Danilo's presentation was wonderful, with the trip through history, his usual impeccable taste in the music, and his usual calm charm as he leads us through and comments on the little things that he himself appreciates about the property. If I have to wonder about how much the maintenance and upkeep would cost, I guess I can't afford it!! Love the main reception hall, the hall of weapons, and the parklands surrounding it. Not only it’s an architectural marvel, but it’s so tastefully decorated, the room with the elegant chairs and the stone ornamental elements displayed scattered on the floor was something out of an art gallery. It’s beyond stunning.

I stayed in the Fiesole hills the last time I was in Florence and it is a stunning area . Ask any child to draw a castle and they will draw for you! I loved the first reception room with the exposed bricks, high ceilings with the massive windows. Nice drone work and presentation Danilo !!!

Great rooms and the land the castle sits on is spectacular. Wouldn't it be fun to leave in a castle.
Such a spetacular Castle! This is a perfect place for anyne who is able. to afford such a stately Castle and even home if they shoujld desire. The ability to have privacy when needed. and Yet know weddings are taking place around you and you hav a part of making them come true wold be quite exciting!
Giving tours, would just be such fun, and alhough impossible to show everything, you would be able to get enough in and of course the history, to help people feel they have enjoyed seeing one of the most exciting and fasntastic castles Italy could contain! Perhaps they will want to return for a wedding or another special occassion at a later date!?
The frescoes themselves are just so intringuing, when you think of thsoe who needed to paint them and as they are so large the climbing to the height of the painting that in thier great artistic talents, would completee and maze so many for so long! Hard to imagine! It is astonishing . So much to see!
All the land, incuding is incredible as well and verywell kept up I may add. To think you may add your own touch to the various areas and keep it in the theme of the history, but yet make it even more lovely than it is now * (If at at all possible?) Not over doing it, but making it just a little more intriguing for everyone living there *meaning owners and thier famiy, * pretending it is me., at this moment, LOL* or visiting, and those taking time to stay for a short period of time!
Daniilo thank you so much for showing he best of the best in Italy.! These are some of the finest am sure! Am so proud of Italy when I see such fine Castles and other Villas that are in the Italy some of my own family have been part of for so many years. My grandfather thought a new life was much better here in the U.S.A. perhaps, and yet look what he left behind!?

Graciousness exemplified. Fiesole is one of the loveliest places in Tuscany, a bold claim but true. And this castle has a view of it all, with Florence in the bargain. I'll make a bid on the place, just as soon as I win the lottery!
Watching this video after a year of absence, I think it's a big improvement from the last one I saw. It now has historical references and Danilo has grown more mature in presentation, more relaxed but still entertaining. The video quality is, as always, excellent.

Wonderful. The main "living room" is exquisite. To me what is great is that it has all the features of an old castle, but it is not over the top. It is fairly simple. And the video itself is done so well. (I would like to see some of the interiors of the other units--like the tower. But then it would get long.) Thanks

When it is the forest the gardens the out buildings and castle it is all big and what a possibility's you have with this.
