    Hmmm new to your channel. I want to know did the item work prior to the job being completed with just new paint and cleaning. I didn’t notice even new bearings was put on or checking if the armature had continuity or even a inspection of the coils wrapping or anything don’t believe this was as you wrote a restoration I believe you just cleaned it up and made it pretty

    • @TheBeaf
      @TheBeaf Před 5 lety +1

      I usually don't comment on "restorations" like this, but I have to agree... it really was just a cleaning and a paint job. You didn't remove the stater and test it, you didn't show any work done on the armature, and you didn't (I assume) replace the brushes so i wouldn't even consider this a tune up and no "body work" was done. Furthermore, the "poor-mans chrome" paint is usually a very poor choice. It looks cheap. A dark green or blue would have been a much better choice (IMO). On a positive note, i appreciate when anyone takes old tools and gives them a second chance, but you gotta call it like you see it. This simply IS NOT a restoration.
