For my 10th birthday our house had mold growing in it so we went and lived with my grandparents for a week. My grandma bought me an American girl doll that year. My parents bought me a full dvd collection of the entire full house series that I was obsessed with.

totally the same, but i had my 11th birthday in a hotel. It was a hotel a few blocks away from my house and me and 3 other of my friends shared two beds while my mom slept on the tiny couch, we had a cake that my mom and I had made myself and the goodie bags were just fuzzy socks, the fanciest thing we had there was the hotel’s breakfast buffet! 😂
But you had that experience with your Mom and your friends! Now it seems it wasn't enough for you.

honestly i watched movies about this lifestyle as a kid & it was a dream. i’m actually happy other kids can live out that dream, without a doubt she is happy & im happy for her as well.
