Disney does need to think about how to make it worthwhile to go to the parks in summer. Bring back the entertainment, the live music, the fun small things to see or do. In the old days, Disney had special events like a Country Fair themed event, or 1950s themed, or Circus themed event, when they needed to get the crowds out.

Oh dusty,thank you for going onto Pirates. It was always my favorite ride. I went on it from the first year it opened to our last visit,2010ish(moved). Always love your true respectful ideas for DLand. You have my vote for President!

I learn so much from your videos. I really appreciate your insider insights. It makes me laugh every time I hear you talk about the Children of the Corn too. It’s got to be coming up on two years ago now that I misheard you and said “I thought you said ‘Children of the corn’ “ and the rest, as they say, is history! What a trio treat 😊 (I hope everybody kept cool if there's heat!); but I feel enough Disney Theme Park Fans are compassionate about Parades, Live Shows, Merchandise, Rides & Attractions, Comfort Food & Drinks - and most of all? Maintaining an entire Theme Park is something we all agree is essential (you pay 100% to get thru the Gate and you deserve a 100% experience!)
Knott's Berry Farm has been b-u-s-y (even without a MonteZOOMA's Revenge!) and killing it with the Live Entertainment & Food / Drinks!
I hope the Future is bright, provided things are done right (in Anaheim!)

Maybe Disney should rebuild the Hyperion with a real lobby, restrooms, etc., and the ability to turn it into a theater accessible from outside of the park, so they could run a show for DCA visitors during the day, and then sell tickets for night performances like bands, special theatrical shows, etc.?

@@craigsvonkin6710 that was one of the possible plans when they built the park. Bring in Broadway shows and do a theme park version during the day and an extra cost full version at night.

I hope the lackluster offerings and proliferation of walls this summer are because Disney is ramping up for a spectacular 70th celebration. Dare to dream.
