Because it’s not 1980 anymore dude. It’s safer right now than it ever has in human history. You need to be smart with it and you’ll be safe. Now obviously in this argument you could ask “why is people being punched in the face for sport become so normalized even if it has side effects?” Because mma and boxing has become less safe over time due to science and steroids have become safer in the same amount of time.

Its gotta one of two ways:
    1. Steroids legal in all sports across the board
    2. Steroids remain illegal in all sports across the board.
To create a "super league" that has one avenue of success, with almost zero chances for athletes to continue competing outside said league at the highest level, seems ridiculous and a no-win for athletes. We're gonna see nothing but B or C-tier athletes that couldnt hack it without PEDs, while the A-tier atheletes remain clean for a long career. Maybe im wrong, but i dont see this ending well, however the prospect of a league of super freaks mangling each other does sound fun 😂

The gamble might be that they will have all these athletes juiced to the gills, and then they perform as good as or WORSE than the the "clean" athletes, and that will create a whole heap of "hey wait, why are the openly drug taking athletes not catchig up, performing as good as or better than the clean athletes?" Followed with a distrust campaign for other sport codes to slowly tear up the market by visually being the only "honest" league

Well strike one is this guys bio. He absolutely did not “lead Thiel’s successful litigatin” not even sure how he thinks he can get away with that . Famously Thiel hired Skadden Arps and Charles Harder. Aron’s not even a lawyer. But by all accounts the schemer who was involved with the original idea for Thiel to pursue the action. Strike 2 is calling himself Dr formally in a byline. No one does that unless you’re an MD/equivalent. That’s beyond cringe. Idk why he’s so comfortable risking athletes careers - with what money? He’s in a lawsuit filed against former business partners to get paid out of Sargon. Yeah no thanks
Strike 3 is how dumb the “enhanced Games” concept is. It’s an impossible level of absolute idiocy for track which is all I can speak to. Firstly as you rightfully call out , the average Olympiad’s salary isn’t the issue. It’s performance based. Steroids doesn’t solve the lack of funding and exposure issue in track. And if the goal is.. what… run better times ? That won’t make ppl watch more haha they can’t take these drugs at the events where they are paid their real money. And they are tested out of competition too. So you’re asking them to forfeit their right to be an Olympian for a concept that will likely fold after a few years. Unless world championships and Olympic Games allow steroids, which is never officially going to happen, this is the worst thing a track athlete can do. I would imagine many elements apply for combat sports too.

It's a great idea. Everyone needs to get off their moral high horses. We already found out from baseball 30 years ago that rich athletes pay chemists tons of 💰for proprietary anabolics formulas with compounds that are not tested for. The only way to make it a genuinely level playing field is to allow anabolics.

It makes sense if you work a physical labor job, it makes the job a lot easier. This also isn't the 80s and steroids have come a long way. Peptides are the heat nowadays.
Imagine, Cody Garbrandt can recover 100% from his torn shoulder and compete. Anderson Silva, Tony Ferguson. All these big names in combat sports, fully recovered from their injuries and can compete back just like nothing ever happened.

But they'll never allow it in combat sports. I use trt now and its wonderful for men over 40. Trt is very safe if managed and monitored by a doctor.
