Ah the part about a unified shaped no matter where you go with edges really just created a breakthrough for me! Thanks
I found this very informative, thank you for making it! The biggest "aha!" moment was the whole, "not letting any of the tree trunks start at the same point on the page" part, so that they looked more natural and the scene looked more 3D. I didn't totally get it until I saw it painted, but it's so simple and so useful. Thanks!
Liron, I appreciate your willingness to share your talents with those of us who need help! I love watching your videos!
Thank you so much Sonia! 😊🙏🏼 much much appreciated
“Imperfect in the most perfect way possible”....love it! :D
I really like that you show the picture ….while you are sketching and painting! Really helps for a beginner like me!
Great tips! Thank you. I have been guilty of overworking the foliage so I will definitely incorporate these tips in my next painting.😊
Awesome 😁 Let me know how it goes!
I’ll definitely try this one.
Thanks for simplifying the completed scene.
Love the sky just as it is.
Your videos are time well-spent. I learn something from every one of them and I am a better artist for it. Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge.
THANK YOU! There are a lot of us out there that need things simplified! Easy. Simple! Keep sending simple watercolors.

The blue is great!
I feel so grateful as well that you show us your knowledge. It's amazing!
Excellent tutorial, thank you Liron. Varying the shades of green really helped me with tree foliage. You are a gifted artist and teacher.
I always frightened by the process, lol.
But when I see the final result, wow!
This video helped me so much!! I realized that I do overwork my foliage/grass backgrounds and since watching this; it has made it much easier to paint backgrounds for my cats! Thank you again!
Beautiful. Great video. This is my favorite style so I'm excited to start practicing on the good paper I just got.

Thank you Dana! 😊🙏🏼
Gorgeous!!
Great work!!
Great lesson! Thank you. Very successful!
Thank you Dana! (:
very helpful - thank you!!
Very good explain and process well recorded!
Great work on the trees, Liron - as you say, the tendency is either to make them a single-coloured 'blob' or to put far too much individual detail in so they lose their unifying structure. You definitely strikes that middle ground with structure and detail both showing through. In the meantime I need to go and put some more miles in on the brushes and see if I can eventually get somewhere close to that happy medium. Thanks for the video and all the best from Florida, Brian.
Thank you Brian! 😁🙏🏼 I always appreciate your comments and kind word. I also feel like I need to put lots of miles on my brushes haha - off to paint! 🎨
So cool :) thank you for sharing.
I really enjoyed this one ☺. I live in the Yukon Territory and do a lot of scenery. Thank you
The manner you handled sky, back foliage, trunks ,tones and shadows ..is amazing. Could watch how your experience with brush could clarify a lot of unspoken practical difficulties of armature artists straggling with spoiled tree paintings.
Trying to find bell
Thanks dear Liron.
Thank you so so much for the kind words 😊🙏🏼 I really appreciate that and am happy I can help! 🎨❤️
Thank you 🤝💪
Love your videos! Thank you so much.
Thank you for watching Debbie! 🙏🏼😊
To me you seemed to overwork it, but the trees are beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Very useful vedio👍🏻
Love this!
Liron..!! This is gorgeous..!!
Yes my problem is adding too much detail and overworking my painting. Layers upon layers😒 I am very much a novice but enjoy your tips on keeping it simple. Thanks Lion!
I really enjoyed this. Your material is more advanced than I am. If you did some more simple paintings I would be very interested. Thank you! I think alot of people started hobbies with the pandemic..
Great lesson
Very helpful tutorial
Thanks Liron, will try this bearing in mind your instructions. I often remember snippets of your advice as I’m painting, so it does sink in! ‘I’m fine with that’ is my favourite! I’m painting a lot looser now and forgiving some unintended outcomes, happy to just say ‘it is what it is’, and repeat a painting if I feel I’ve learned something from my mistakes, rather than fiddle with the original. I like the blue sky by the way, adds to the sunny feel.
Beautiful! You make it look so easy :D
Thank you 😁🙏🏼
Sometimes it's indeed easy, but I do struggle with many paintings too!
I needed this!
A beautiful presentation Very interesting Thank you 👍
I would prefer to leave the tree trunks white it seems to give it a better contrast
In the photo, the treetops against the sky is quite noticeable, but I like the look of the bottoms of the tree trunks and the value changes there, the criss crossing and stuff
Thank you! There’s an infinity of ways of approaching this, I tried making good decisions 😁 Would be interesting to do another one with a different arrangement too and see what comes up 🎨
Thank you!
Great.... excellent....
I was painting a tree and a tutor barked at me (no pun intended) "too much leaves!!". I dashed off the painting again with fewer leaves and indeed it was much better. Important lesson learnt. Less leaves.
