Hi, We use ProPresenter and we add a TV point to the stage and we use the Stage Display with the current phrase and next phrase of the music and that works as well because we remove the Stands and because the TV is on the way of the people gives a impression that they are looking towards the people.

Completely agree, and definitely recommend removing the stands! It takes time and commitment to learn the songs, but once you do you can engage in the worship experience much more. Everyone on the stage is a "worship leader", so let the congregation see you worshipping, not just staring at the sheet music.

Hey! Just found your channel and as a volunteer worship leader at my church one of the things we have struggled with is engaging our congregation. We are slowly trying to remove the ipads and music stands and have even installed confidence monitors with lyrics and chords on our back wall. The issue we have is that we have three worship leaders currently and we will often do songs in different keys. Having team members learn a song in different keys can be frustrating. What steps do you think would help us with this? Thanks and God bless!!

I think using the number system would fix that - but that's a big jump

Does your team use a confidence monitor? You know like somewhere on the back wall?

Lee Wood I am more talking about lead guitar, acoustic, bass and keys reading chord charts. But still take this as a challenge to memorize as much as you can. It will make you better long term and enjoy what you do on stage.

What do you do if you have an amazing musician that has a heart for the Lord but has a disability on remembering music & shouldn't this go for the singers as well instead of having them read of a screen in the back or on the front row of the sanctuary?

I agree with you. I played in a worship band for several years and we removed our stands as well and it really puts you, as a musician, into a better position to perform and worship. Now I'm in the sound team and I am mixing bands, so I see them and what you say is true. The stage performance is better without stands. The band looks more natural.
One more thing that came into my mind when you talked about worshipping. If we are in the audience and worship god, most of us probably close their eyes, because we can focus on god. Why can we do that? Because we know the lyrics, we are not distracted by some text on a screen. So if knowing the song helps us in the audience why should we distracting ourselves on stage?
