Gutting a Piano for a Keyboard Workstation

  • During the Covid 19 Pandemic I gutted and upright piano and turned it into a keyboard workstation.
    I used Led Lighting to add even more flavor while leaving the harp to ensure even more aesthetics. I used the Nord stage 3 76 keys but the motif ES8 or the Yamaha Montage could even fit into this setup.

    Thanks for the video. Why did you decide not to take the sound board, etc. out? I've messed with pianos for years but not to the level of taking them apart. I want to completely gut the one I do, but don't know what is involved once it gets to the point your's is at now.

      Hello Scott. Actually it looks better when you keep it in. I do recommend putting a blanket inside to keep the harp from resounding. Thanks for subscribing as well.
