There's a difference between knowing where random African countries are on a map and simply knowing basic world geography like where your own country's capital city is

@@D0rlisok I have a video saved of 2 British women that didn’t know what the English flag looked like, they were shown a picture of the English flag and failed to say what country it was. The average Brit doesn’t even know the difference between the United Kingdom and Britain, most Brit’s think there’s only 3 countries in the United Kingdom. I’ve seen countless videos of Europeans from different countries who don’t know the simplest shit.
@@DA-db9bi "countless of videos" are not evidence of what the general knowledge of the population is. I could ask 100 people in the street basic questions and statically there would still be people failing them.
But as a matter of fact if you did that in the US, there would be more people failing these basic geography answers than in other countries, although I would not say this demonstrates that "americans are dumb". it just shows that geography is not a subject that's valued in the current american education system, thats all.
