I would say to start the draft picks in AA and check on them occasionally to see how they are doing and either keep them in AA or send them to single A or AAA. Love these vids
I agree with this, check on them every couple weeks (especially navarro), and if they continue to play well, keep moving them up even if that means promoting them to the mlb
Kenny I would suggest for when you're looking at hitters to not focus on batting average so much because while it is nice for a hitter to have a high average, ops is a much better stat to see if a hitter is more of an overall good hitter. An ops of around .700-.750 is around average and anything below that is normally below average for hitting and anything above is above average.
Mid 70's players should for the most part be playing in AAA, low 70's high 60s in AA. Check the stats a month or so into the season and move them up or down accordingly. McCallum should be someone you keep an eye on for sure. Let Navarro play in the minors for 1 more season.
4 days and no episode im going to unalive myself this is the content i need to sustain myself, im in deep depression without these but when i have these im on the top of the world daily episodes appreciated semi daily also appreciated just not weekly or death and sin will haunt you, Thank you!
Also look and focus on the tender contracts because a lot of your prospects will be on that screen and leaving it up to chance that the cpu will offer them isint the best idea
I did a sox rebuild a week ago, trying to be somewhat realistic. Draft and develop, trade players that arnt part of the future for prospects. Ended up signing Soto to a 7x30, justified it because he's only 25, can build around him, crochett and robert. Signed beuhler to a 3x10 for a veteran arm to help a young but promising rotation. Also grabbed Ferguson for the bullpen. I like the glayber signing! This series is awesome Kenny! Cant wait for next vid
I enjoy watching this series and your MLB The Show franchise. I wish you the best of luck with your season and franchise. I really do hope u get the win cause you are doing an amazing job with your franchises. I also am a huge franchise person when it comes to The Show and do believe that you will have success in your franchise. I look forward to and can’t wait for the u episode #KeepTheSeriesGoing #WatchTilTheEnd #AlwaysLeaveALike
Should have had the top prospects on the spring training roster. Their stats would have given you an idea of where to start them. If they were bad to just ok, AA. If they were above average, AAA. If they were God tier, straight to the show.
@@Jay_to_Jay I mean that’s a little crazy lmao but I think one player would be fine, Soto ended up with the A’s anyways so it’s not like he went to a realistic team in his universe anyways
In my experience, 18/19 years old NEVER hit well when you bring them up the first year. The process that has worked best for me is: start the year in AA as the main starter at the position. Halfway through the year send them up to AAA (unless they’re doing bad). Start of the second year they should be good to be called up.
Kenny I think If your trying to make a run for the playoffs this year trying to pick up an ace, I made a franchise and have an ace at SP and he is 12-1
you can watch all games by hitting play game and not choosing either side before you get into it. this works with both organization games and others like a world series game that neither team isnt yours.
When u sign guys especially guys you like you should mess with their equipment like changing colors etc and bling them up or make them match the team better
I drafted an 82 overall rookie the other day, dude hit like .260 his first year. Wish I would have put him in like double A and let him get a little better before I called him up. He was 99 potential too.
I actually think Patrick Wisdom could be a great signing. He's a guy you could totally flip at the deadline for a prospect or two if he's having a good season. That's one way alot of teams are able to rebuild, they just sing veteran guys to 1 or 2 year deals, and then flip them to a contender looking for a rental bat down the stretch for some young guys.
"Juan Soto took the bag" the AAV for his contract his $21 mil 😭😭😭guy must have gotten part ownership in the A's My opinion, give Navarro and McCallum a couple starts in Spring and see if they're simming well and if they are give them a trial run in the first month. If they're not doing what you want, that's when I would send them down to AAA or AA
Bro, said the Sox don't spend big. If we are contenders, Jerry will spend. He has made a couple players highest paid at that given time. Albert Belle , etc.
Used to be if you offered your guy a qualifying offer, then extend them, then trade them, you'd still get the comp draft picks. Idk if that still applies to 24, though.
Trade for people like Dylan Lesko on the Padres. Chourio or frelick on the brewers. I also saw holiday on the trade block you should’ve snagged him. All good prospects/players who’ll become superstars
Keep the picks with higher overall and higher potential in AA or AAA. Put the ones with higher overall and low potential in the AAA or MLB (since they won't improve that much)
With the Navarro guy seeing that his potential is only a C… I would definitely keep him in no lower than triple A. Put him in either triple A or the mlb because he is projected to not get much better.
Please Kenny keep going with this baseball series you made me get back to baseball after 5 years not caring. Your the best and the king of CZcams sport intertainement!🫶
Try to focus on OPS more than batting average because that is a way better way to tell if someone is a good hit or not .750 is considered average, so anything about that is above average anything below that is below average.
did you know that because of the MLB's rules surrounding the draft lottery, the White Sox cannot receive a pick higher than 11th in the 2025 MLB draft no matter how bad they are?
A dude named Portillo managing a Chicago team is so sick 😂
Why

Juan Soto selling his soul to be the first face of Vegas is the darkest timeline MLB storyline
Play Navarro in Double A to start the season. He'll get some game action and better chance for him to develop.
Nah triple a 75 ovr gonna develop a lot

Nah the A's offering that contract to Juan Soto is WILD 😭💀
Definitely a video game
I gotta see if I can give that in my franchise.
as a A’s fan, that made me happy because ik it ever gonna happen in real life😭
@joshfarro2071 it would ruin the team more because it would hurt cap so bad and it's one player you need to build up to stars
@@dashedape we build up stars and trade them before doing anything special

saw he just left the tender contracts screen and came right to the comments lmao
Okay cool now drop another episode today! I been binging the series the past 2 days
I'd keep an eye on the top dogs, start them in AA or something and they can move up if they progress and perform well in the minors.
Something to take my mind off how mid my Cards are lets gooo 🐐😔

With all the new prospects play then in AA or AAA and let them play and if they perform then they could earn a call up

Love that kenny is doin baseball, I don't even have to watch to knows it's a banger. Liked as soon as I loaded the video
Favorite series on YT🔥
I’m a super causal when it comes to the offseason of baseball so watching you do a franchise is helping me out big time
Love that Glayber signing!
Great vid
you should honestly put miggy in double or triple A for a year and throughout the year check on him to see how he progresses
Your going to have to keep that LF with the 5 logo on your team the whole season
I cannot explain how invested I am in this series
Bro coulda got Willy and glyber and start that Youngin in AA

Kenny, don’t forget to hire new scouts for next year. Prioritize efficiency, try to get every scout in the 90s for efficiency.
He gotta make more

U just signed all my Yankees🥲
Gotta go 162-0 now after going 82-0
Put all the guys you drafted in AA, they won't develop in single A
ALSO CONGRATS ON 100K SUBS!!!
Bring them to double A so you could see the development
I’m feining for the new episode please drop it Kenny

Call up the #1 pick in like July or September call ups. September call ups and the prospect playing good gives them +8+9 on some attributes

17:06 he could’ve got ben joyce 🥲
Have Miguel Narvaro at AAA to start off you can always call him up if he is playing good and call him down to AA if not playing well
if you had space, drury would be a good pickup any time for a good 3b

Bring him all the way up
that Montgomery contact. was bad because every player you control for 6 years you payed him for 5 of those years
That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have to pay him a lot if his overall keeps going up. It’s only 2 mill

only 20 minutes on an upload :( these are too good for such short uploads ur killing me 😭

Mannn Kenny shoulda paired Robert with a Soto tier player
Wwwwwww Kenny upload
Start draft picks in double AA and if they’re killing it after a couple months send em to AAA. Def don’t call em up until September tho
Soto would have been nuts but i understand why u didn't get him😂
you can toggle thru players without leaving their stat screen with R2/L2
How do you pass up on Dave Roberts?
consistent kenny?
Prob being over dramatic but Juan signing with the A’s done pissed me off.

Bring the dude up to double A, and monitor his stats, if he’s performing well just keep advancing him, rangers basically did the same with Langford
Sacramento As legend Juan Soto
John Fischer would be the type of guy to sign Juan soto and then just not play him
Drew thorp needs to play
This will help me forget the Rangers lost to the A's last night 😔
WOOOHOOO
You should of tried for Soto
