    I’m handicap and I don’t mind if people use it but if you see an older person or a handicap person waiting let them use it first. That is just respectful!

      EXACTLY. I'm handicapped. It's the last one. Use it, but if a handicapped, elderly, or child burdened person shows up, they get next turn for the handicapped stall. They NEED it.

      You can answer so many questions with "just be respectful" I appreciate you offering your opinion on this question. It's kind of sad that, as a society, we have to remind adults to be respectful. When the quarantine was lifted, a bunch of people seemed to leave their houses and forget to bring their respect for others, empathy, and social skills back out into the world with them. Such a shame.

    I use it. We all have to wait for our turn anyways. Rule of thumb for me is that if a handicapped person came in it would be their turn next on that stall.

  • @dugel3
    @dugel3 Před rokem +1

    I AM handicapped.The handicap stalls are designed to be much larger to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers or other adaptive devices. They also have handrails to hold on to so that getting on and off the toilet is safer. If you just have to take a quick pee and no one else is waiting, go for it. But if you're going to be in there a while and there's the potential for someone that actually needs that stall to come in, I say wait. If you come out after being in there doing your thing for ages and there's a handicap person waiting, that is not cool!

  • @jamesmorris3160

      @garymullings1089 Před rokem +8

      Just because someone doesn’t look handicapped to you when they get out of a car doesn’t mean they are not handicap it doesn’t to be a physical handicap you can see it could be heart condition breathing conditions or a number of things just cause you don’t look handicapped don’t mean you aren’t

    @joshfaulkner3710 Před rokem +2

    I’ve been in a wheelchair since 2003. An AB using a handicap bathroom is a bad thing.
    We have to keep our bathroom uses on a schedule since we don’t know when we have to go.
    Having an AB in a handicap bathroom could result in us urinating on ourselves or defecting.

  • @ParaRob
    @ParaRob Před rokem

    If a handicapped person comes in while you're using that stall, you can just tell them you were warming the seat up for them. 😆
    My 1st thought when I heard you pose this question was, what do you do when a parking lot is full and there's only handicap spaces open. These two questions are completely different scenarios though so the same rules don't apply. I think it's perfectly fine to use a handicap stall as long as there isn't a handicap person waiting behind you. If there is someone who is handicap behind you, I think you should let them take their stall and then the next one that opens can be all yours.
    What do I do when I go to a store and all of the spots are taken except for the handicap spots? I turn around and go home because that means it's way too busy in that store and whatever I was going there for can wait. Lol I can't stand being in stores that are overcrowded!

    Bar 7 Ranch............
    As someone who is disabled, my personal opinion is, if all stalls are full except for that one... and all you need to do is urinate...then use it. After all, you won't be there but a short time.
    However...if you need to poo... UNLESS YOU TRULY CAN'T WAIT...then please wait until another stall is available for you to use.
    Because a person is obviously going to be there a while, if they have to poo.
    And during that time, a disabled person very well could come into the restroom and then they would have to wait...which isn't fair to the disabled person.
    I'm probably clear as mud.
    But hopefully you understand what I mean.😁

    I said there's no one handicapped in the bathroom at the time that you enter and is the only one you can use... Then use it

    I say if it’s available use it but maybe it’s like a handicap parking space, you don’t use it, not cause you can get a ticket or towed…you just don’t.

    It’s the Cadillac of public stalls. I’m not jumping in front of a handicapped person, but I’ll use it if none are in the room.

    I will use it. It’s handicapped accessible not handicapped only. I refuse to soil myself if there is an open toilet
