Use a sheet of computer paper to make a funnel. Any extra left in the "funnel" can be emptied back into your shaker. No waste. Also put a sheet of paper under the cup to catch any spills.

If you shake it periodically as you add the water and oil it helps keep that fine glitter from clumping around the rim.

Beautiful job young lady, next time try 2 holes on top bigger one for glitter and and small breather hole for air to escape when putting the liquid in. Then you can fill it completely full.

I glue a rhinestone over the hole… Let that dry… And then go in with UV resin mixed with whatever color glitter etc. I did so that it matches… And then I do a second layer of UV resin ones that one set
I also drill a second small hole as it’s so much easier to fill then when you have that air flow

I actually just saw a post of that happening to someone who used Glycerine. I’m hearing it’s actually the water causing the mold and not the oil. Distilled or Filter water is what is recommended now.

What brand of water do you use ?

I found an answer further down, she didin't specify a brand, but did specify type. Filtered water or distilled water. If you have a filter on your tap water, use that. It's less costly. Or buy a brita type filter pitcher and use that. Cost effective in the long run.

No once sealed there isn’t any open air and so it should not create any mold.
