OK. My late husband sometimes couldn't get my "thing" to close. He would push and push and it was very wide open.
I would tell him to "click the release" several times and whoa! it would close.
Same thing.

OMG..WTF ZID THE NAME OF THST BAR THE HOOD LATCH VOMMECTS TO,? I've been to,7 places! Is it that hard to identify!!!!?? Mine s 09. It's linked at the corners to adjust the height of hood etc.
