Another mistake to add to the end of this video, thanks to a subscriber (Al Bundy For President) for sending me some info. Avoid using coconut oil if you have low porosity hair. Meaning if your hair takes a while to absorb water, it's probably best to avoid coconut oil (and most heavy hair oils). It all comes down to hair type. Fine to medium hair types will benefit most.

I have to sleep in an extremely hot room in Florida and wake up with sweaty hair--just a mess! Brushing it with even a detangler brush meant losing hair until I tried the coconut oil approach. I understand perspiration can damage and dry your hair because of the salt content. What I do now is use a bit of the oil, concentrate it more toward the ends, anx comb it through before retiring. The next day, I get up, sweaty as always, but my hair is easier to manage with few snags and tangle. I'm glad I caught this video!

Yes. Indians have been using coconut oil on hair forever. I think you should buy the unrefined coconut oil though because the refined coconut oil can mean they extract the fatty acids which is what is needed to moisturize the hair. It should smell like coconut oil, almost a little rancid not fragrance free. Very informative video. Thank you. You showed the science supporting what Indians have known for years. Get it cheap at the Indian stores and make sure nothing is added; it's pure coconut oil

Hi! To avoid burning if the oil gets too hot when putting it on the stove, put a bowl with water on the microwave for 2 minutes, Put the oil in a shot glass (like tequila) by itself and put it Inside the water bowl, the water will warm the oil 😇

Can you make a video for argan oil as well?
Also can you make a video on when to condition, shampoo, mask, oil your hair? Sould we do all of these on the same day or spread them out? Also how often we can use argan/coconut oil?

Bro thanks for the great video!
I have a question tho. As you said that once your hair is already oily, you shouldnt apply the extra oil. But I only wash my hair when it gets oily (around every 3 days). Does this mean its unwise to apply the coconut oil before washing. or do you have other tips for applying the oil for prewash?
And the only reason i dont want to apply the oil after wash is because it will then stay oily until my next wash. How do you keep up with that?

I have been using coconut oil daily from last 6 years currently I am 21, when I was 15 i was facing hair fall and too much dry hair I started using coconut oil daily and my hairs are so thick and healthy now, my aunt has been using Mustard oil from last 30 years on daily basis, she usually keeps her bottle on direct sunlight and then apply it on her scalp and I think her hairs are best hairs on this planet 😀.

idk why I feel like oils like coconut oil dry my hair out and make them frizzy. Every time I do some kind of oil treatment my hairdresser says I have dry hair which PISSES ME OFF cuz thats not the case. I love organ oil as I learned from you, it works as a sealant and it penetrates, so I love the shine and strength it gives my hair.

May sound silly but i've been on a ketogenic diet for the past 2 years and have seen a substantial increase in hair-growth all over my body- A non-primary part of Keto is getting in your MCT's (But more objectively, to get a good mix of other fatty acid profiles) so its quite interesting to correlate a change in diet to hair-health with the research i've been doing over the past few days.

Coconut Oil 🥥 is good for oil pulling too. Brush your teeth then take a spoon or half a spoon and swish in your mouth as long as possible. Spit it out when done and repeat as needed.

*There are many oils that can be used to promote healthy and thick hair.*
*Argan oil* _is rich in vitamin E, which promotes a balanced scalp environment for great locks!_
*Olive oil* _has loads of antioxidants like Vitamin E too so it's perfect if you want more protection from split ends._

Would refined or unrefined oil be better?
I presume the studies were conducted with pure, refined oil to reduce the number of factors, but I guess unrefined oil with all the extra vitamins and minerals would be better?
    Also, it smells nice.

I love to coconut oil my hair the night before a shampoo. I have long curly hair like Aidan Turner and I only shampoo my hair once a week and the coconut oil definitely makes it feel a lot better. Honestly, for curly hair on days I don't feel like using hair product, I will rinse my hair with coconut water and it makes my hair feel really good and smell like the beach. I don't know how coconut water is for people with straight hair, but for curly hair it really is something that can help tighten the curls a bit more and it adds to the number of the days I can go without a shampoo due to the lack of adding hair product to the hair.

A few things that have helped to control my hairfall include: (1) I discontinued wearing hair ties because it leds to tension damage. (2) I began massaging my scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while bending over & holding my head upside down to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Protecting my head while moving out to safeguard my hair from pollution. (4) Using mild shampoo again from liittleextra only to wash my hair.

I have waist length, natural silver hair. Coconut oil is the only product I use (outside shampoo and conditioner.) My frickin’ hair is *GLORIOUS.* I use it post wash, pre comb, and I very seldom use heat at all.
My question is in regards to my (lack of) pigment. I’ve seen stylists describe white and silver hair as hollow tubes, due to the absence of pigment. What is the coconut oil actually doing for my hair? When I do use heat, am I deep frying it? Like I said, my hair is fantastic, but I’m willing to make it even better. Thoughts?
