What's your favorite cut of steak to cook up in the air fryer?
none lol, i prefer to cook mine in a pan.
@@stuka80 😂
@@stuka80 A pan?😂 Try a grill...

Thank you! Short yet thorough video. Exactly what I was looking for
We now have two of this exact item, the Instant Pot Vortex 6 Qt. Air Fryer czcams.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . The friend just had a second one delivered a few days ago so we could take it to our lake house. We have even given a couple as gifts. And we use ours regularly. It is a killer for warming up leftovers. It is killer for warming up fries when you bring them home from the fast food place. It is killer for cooking a lot of things. It does its job fast and it does it well. This is simply one of the best items that you will ever spend money on for preparing food. And, its hard to imagine someone making one that's better than the Instant Pot Vortex.
You just made my day! I had no idea I could use my air fryer to cook steak 🥩 I learned so much from this video 😊
Great idea, thanks
I'd let them sit for five to ten minutes to absorb and retain all the juicy goodness before serving. But great video!
Good video. I’ve cooked ribeyes in mine. The first time it was cooked a wee bit too long but now I have it down.
Thank you!!!
Sooo awesome, thanks!!:p
This was amazing lol
I came looking for copper and found gold, my man Floss! 🎉
Dayum Flossys here😂 im a huge fan of your vids

Im usually a grill or pan fry steak guy cuz I like a good crust.never thought of doing steaks in my air fryer which I really only use for chicken and pork chops but I'm gonna have to give this a try.
Yummy
Thanks so much ! Watching from Down Under ! Melbourne Australia. New Sub now !
Surely you'll just do yours on the barbie...no fancy air fryers for you 😂
I rub olive oil on them before seasoning. Helps get the crispy edges done.
Air fryer steak!?
Dang London!!
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah!!! Cant wait to try this & guess what! Its tonight!!! Love a charcoal grill so this is the absolute closest thing!!! Xoxoxoxox from Kentucky!!!
For a better sear...try cooking frozen steak straight from freezer! I cook 1" thick ribeye about 10 minutes, flip, and add meat thermometer.....
Sassy!

Your temperature recommendations are crazy, rare is 110 max!
its size of air fryer determent the cooking heat?
Used your video! We'll see how it turns out here shortly! Haha
❤
Can't wait to try this method since I don't always have time to fire up the charcoal grill.

@@MegaGarmonbozia 🤭👍
Did you cook the rib eye steak medium in this video? Thanks
👍🙌
Just cooked a fillet steak beautiful, never frying again .
Still licking my lips 😋
You really should let your steak rest for 7 to 10 minutes after cooking
What about cooking it low and slow and ramp up the temp to max to get crispy sides
😋😋😋😋😋
I apply a light coat of olive oil and season then cook….browns even darker!
Truffle oil is awesome too!!
Poison ....use ghee or butter
How many cocktails/edibles had you consumed before filming?
thank you
😂
Lil tipsy eh? 🍷
You’re too cute…thanks for the great recipe!
New cook here, and bad cook, I might add. So on the Rib Eye - is 10 minutes the TOTAL cooking time, but turn them over at 5 minutes?
Yes
Infact l only do 4 min each side.. even then it's slightly overcooked
@@orchidlady14 i would recommend buying a Thermometer, they don't cost much anymore
You, generally speaking, should season the steak immediately after cooking - versus before - and let it rest a couple of minutes after cooking without cutting it. That resting time is precious time for the inside to be cooking in its juices and provide some extra flavor.
🔥....🥩...🏃
I want the outside crispy and the steak raw in the middle. I never cook a steak longer than 4 minutes.
Did you spray the pan first?
Yes lightly
You know how to cook! Leaving a nice portion of fat/flava!
You should ALWAYS let the meat “rest” for 5-8 mins for best results! Nice vid
Rest inside the airfryer pr outside ?
How is the cleanup easy? ... especially the top portion of the air fryer?
Top portion? Only the shelf that the steak sat on got dirty…
@@RabidNewts If you've ever used an Air Fryer the top area gets pretty dirty... not the easiest to clean. It sounds like you've never cleaned yours?
How long total cook time, Medium? And what temp
Watch the video.. that info is there... 😅
Do the air fryer community hate crust on steaks or something? Lmao 😂
You said you’re going to preheat the air fryer. But it looked cold when you put the steaks in.
A preheated air fryer looks exactly the same as a cold air fryer. You press the preheat button and when the preheat cycle is done, the unit turns off. Then you put your food in, close the drawer, select the settings you want and press the go button.
Always let steak rest after cooking
Great tips but the squeak in the start of the video kinda startled me 🤭🤣
Haha ya my voice was just coming back after being gone for like a week! lol
Crazy ex-girlfriend?
True 😁
Those steaks aren’t beef…
I know there’s a story behind that statement
this is harder than just cooking it in a pan...
Your no Daisy!
What happened to letting the steak sit for 5 minutes after cooking what do u mean serve immediately woman
You're the most animated speaker I've ever seen. Will try the steak though
wtf is 400 farenhight?
200 degrees Celsius
no need to pre-heat your air fryer.
The salt is what gives your steak the crust.
you don't want every inch covered...
There is a salt, pepper, and garlic seasoning at walmart.
Rather use my cast iron skillet.
Thanks anyway.
doesn't need to be room temperature
It's way better if it is. I can tell your steak sucks at the cookout
Also doesn’t come close to room temp in an hour
@@unemployedgringo it doesn’t come anywhere close to room temp in an hour barely changes temp actually. Newb cough cough
@@unemployedgringoNah, the colder the steak, the more if a crust you can get without overcooking the inside. Cooking FROZEN steaks in an air fryer is amazing. That room temp shit means NOTHING. Look up "frozen steak in air fryer."
@@evanschneider9587 I refrigerate my steaks. I presume you think I freeze them.
You overcooked it by the grey showing and you NEVER eat it right away or the steak will lose that delicious moisture that goes back in if you wait 10 minutes. I knew when you said 15 mins it was going to have a lot of grey. 12 mins tops!
😂 you mean that’s how you do it 😂 jeez every expert thinks they don’t look like a know it all superiority complex types 😂 and the likes 😂 same types .Wind your necks in your way sounds shizer to be fair . Have a great day …shall I tell you how to ? No ? Ok bet you would tell me ha ha

i dont understand much what u say. It s better if u can show exactly how to do with sub.
OMG you need to rest the steak for 10 mins after cooking 😂😂😂
A much more attractive Rachel Ray
Is she drunk?!
Get to the point: time and temp.
HAHA I notice you didn't even bother with temperatures for well done. LMAO It doesn't even matter because it's no longer a steak at that point. Hell... you could have stopped at medium. I don't know why anyone would cook a steak to medium, but oh well.
Probably for the same reason people enjoy their steaks cooked to their own personal preference.
