Fun fact: Caddy's use of the term "breats" originated in a video where he took a look at a hate email he got once, specifically centered around a Tomb Raider review of his. In the email, where the hater made several super friendly suggestions about actions Caddy should take with his channel and life that Caddy could only laugh at, the guy said that Caddy made "predictable jokes about Lara's breats and buttocks", misspelling the word "breasts" and making Caddy laugh his ass off, stating he wanted that on a t-shirt. He's been using that word ever since.

* They were filming at an 18+ area during spring break to make
* The girl used a fake ID to get into that area
* She was already 18 by the time the game first released
* The fact that she was underage wasn't discovered until after one of her friends bought the game and recognized her
Filming child corn and then releasing it after the child turns 18 does not take away from the fact it's CHILD CORN.

To address the reason Australia banned so many games, it's because we didn't have a dedicated R-18 rating for video games until relatively recently.
12:25 The company didn't go under cause Too Human and X-Men Destiny were poorly received.
They went under cause the game engine they used was technically being used illegally since they never paid Epic the licensing fee for the use of the engine which is what that article is about and why they had to pay Epic for damages.
Used copies of those games are rare cause by court order those games had to be delisted digitally and any unsold physical versions were recalled for destruction.

Postal 2 is a love it or hate it game. It's a time capsule of crude 2000s humor and glitchy as hell, but it's immersive sim elements and love from the devs with constant updates make it a cult classic. Cory Crews' voice acting as the Postal Dude is iconic.
I highly recommend the spin-off game Brain Damaged, as it's more of a Quake-like shooter and pretty inventive in terms of style.
Fun Fact: The Guy Game was the only game released by Top Heavy Studio before it was shut down due to the controversy. Also, the founder of said company was a complete douchebag that used to work for Nintendo IIRC

fun fact: BMX XXX was originally supposed to be the third game in the Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX series Dave Mirra was a big BMX rider in the X-games at the time. When Dave became aware of the change to what BMX XXX would be, he sued Acclaim to be removed from the game.

I’m glad that you guys are reacting to this one! It’s become one of my favorites recently! Also, fun fact, the Thrill Kill segment is actually heavily based around his old review of the game, repurposing some jokes, commentary, and I believe footage as well to remake it in a style that (this part is pure speculation, but would make sense) he would be more proud of today! And to add on to Manhunt 2 with something that wasn’t in the video, despite the Wii version being heavily censored, it arguably is even MORE visceral, violent, and disturbing, considering the fact that you have to use the Wii Remote’s motion controls to actually move the Remote to ACT OUT the kills, not just pressing buttons, but imitating the actions as well (I believe there may have even been rumble used in the Remote to add to the immersiveness)!

I got postal 2 a few months ago. They actually still update the game to this day and even added steam deck compatibility with a whole info graphic and everything and workshop support while being at the price of under 5 dollars during most sales. Just don’t bother playing postal 3 that game is basically not even functioning and mean like Cyberpunk was in a better state at launch.

Postal 4 could be better though love that they have a wide range of voice actors to choose from for the like the actor from 3 or the guy that played dude in the movie adaptation.
Also don’t forget Postal Brain damaged which for the most part feels like the gameplay has improved much better even if it is a bit more fast paced and harder to keep up with, but still managed to be fun.
If I remember correctly, 3 wasn't Running With Scissors and when asked troubleshooting questions, their response is along the lines of "your problem is you're trying to play postal 3". Nice of them to have the voice actor as an option in 4 though.

The discussion about creeps buying explicit material at the start of the BMX XXX segment reminded me of something. I spent 6 weeks in Japan this past summer with a study program in Kyoto and I found an adult store and figured I'd at least see what was in there because I had nothing else going on that evening. I had to have been the only person in that store younger than 60. The only people I saw were old salarymen buying JAV DVDs and it made me feel gross just being in there.

It was considered forbidden cause some outlets exaggerated some of the content in the game, making is seem as though it was all the game is. I know it was banned in Europe cause of that. While there are subjects explored in the game that would be considered triggering, or make people uncomfortable, that's not all this game is. It's an exploration into someone's past, and the trauma they dealt with.

In the marine campaign you go to a stripclub and so my parents didn’t want me playing it anymore
They told me stuff like “the characters say inappropriate things”
I own the game on steam and I’ve beaten most the campaigns on hard difficulties
Hours and hours, and not one line of dialogue really stuck out as “inappropriate” to me
I understand them saying that instead of having to explain to me what a stripclub was, but back then it was just super confusing for me cuz I knew nobody said anything too bad
