Then and Now - Singapore

  • When I did this video, I came to realise that Singapore has changed tremendously in such a short span of time. It was comparatively a third world progression to the first. The photos are not totally mine. I took some photos from my dad's collection and friends in social media. I am sure there are many other places where old structures have stood over the test of time and have modern buildings erected around it. Hope you can share with me more locations that are similar to the theme of this video.
    Best Regards

It's nice to know that sections of old Singapore rich in history are still around.

For a small country with so much developing on, it is amazing how so many landmarks still remain, amidst the changes of their surroundings. Thank you for this video, nostalgia for someone like me who was born in the 70s and growing up witnessing the actual change.

Nevertheless we still have to educate our younger generations to appreciate what’s left so that future developments do not rob the existing heritage off us. Thanks for ur input Veronica☺️🙏🏻

2-storey Paya Lebar to 4-terminal Changi is by luck?
Non-aircon buses to 6-line MRT system is by luck?
GDP per capita at USD $500 in 1965 to USD$90,000 in 2022 is by luck?
