It does here, doesn't at all in person. 5 is noticeably better, obviously. I think it's down to the user settings or whatever but 5 is plenty better visually with graphics and resolution

ride 4 spend its graphic resource in beautiful effect and detail. ride 5 spend its resource on high resolution texture or 4k gaming. still prefer ride 4 even it have lower resolution graphic. this case is similiar to batman arkham knight vs gotham knight. gaming industries is no good today since it use 4k gaming as standart release, they should use 4k gaming as feature only and release default game in lower resolution but with all physic and effect detail enable
Thats why the hardly show any footage prior to release . There is zero reason to jump into this game if you already have Ride 4 . I would even say that Ride 4 looks even better
There are NO reflections in Ride 5? Thank ME (and Sony for the discount) I bought Ride 4 few days ago because of a lower price, looks GREAT with all those fancy reflections during rain!
Thank you, you saved me a lot of money. Since there are no obvious differences between the titles, I'll stay relaxed with part 4. Ridiculous to call this part 5 and throw it on the market at full price. Luckily I'm not forced to buy and can politely decline. :D

The one thing that would make me buy this game would have been better engine sounds. Gran Tourismo did it back on the Playstation 2, I used to love listening to those cars. Here we are years later and .....nope
And how funny it is to see that flash of the sun on the rev counter when it is supposed to be raining and there is no sun shining on it. Not even that they have managed to do well in this game. Worse physics, worse graphics, worse menu, anyway... a disaster no matter where you look at it.
It's mad because in person ride 5 looks miles better graphically, from the trial on the store. Try it, there's a fair difference, definitely an upgrade. Ride 4 looks better here for some reason 🤣 just CZcams I think because yeah in real life it's just not the case. It's not that close either, 5 is better looking with graphics but the resolution too
RIDE 4 IS BETTER. Contrast, reflections from the wet road, rain and ambiance more clearly. I'm playing Ride 4 at the moment, but I don't think I'm going to pick up Ride 5 to play, I don't think it's worth it.

whenever i buy one of the road versions of a bike in ride 4 i always remove that ugly license plate bracket on the tail
