i personally love the manual floor shift for the 4x4 i feel more sure that its in when i need it rather than relying on a little solenoid that goes bad all the time :)

i agree, i hate push button specifically for that reason. Each time you push it its like holding your breath.. will it shift the t case or not.

I build transmissions for a living. I can tell Mark knows what he is doing! There are so many hacks out there that will throw crap in a case and call it a rebuild. They will get top dollar for their junk too. Just because you pay a lot for a transmission does NOT mean its good. Do your home work before you buy. Keep up the good work Mark!

I couldn't be happier with my tcase mark built for me after watching your vid on the tcase swap, I called Mark right away. Mark is a stand up guy and his customer service is top notch. When I called him he didn't have a tcase available yet, he informed me he had a truck on the lot he could pull and have built up for me by the end of the day. He came through as he promised, I drove up there and picked it up and dropped my core off after I did the install. Again Mark is great and was a huge help in getting my truck back on the road. Kodiak trucks is the place to go for your truck needs hands down.

I need help. I changed rear main seal on lmm duramax twice and still leaks from bottom bell housing.does rear main plate have a gasket or silicone? Do you have to remove plate and install seal to it then to engine? Please help

The last time I was looking at a truck with a 'built transmission' what the seller actually meant was built by the factory and bone stock while he was looking for $15K extra for a truck waaay over on mileage. I had to run from that deal. Total shade show.

I had this happen to me 15 years ago or so when E-bay was pretty new. Guy was selling pulled transmissions he said they were rebuilt/upgraded. All he did was put a coat of Rust-O-luem on the outside.

Bought my 2005 Duramax, had headgasket issues and sure enough 5 days after I got the top end back together, my trans took a shit. Took my truck to PPE in Los Angeles, they pulled my trans and it had an unknown brand converter in it. Later found out it was a half assed "build" like this. Stock clutches with a shift kit and aftermarket converter, it smoked the clutches bad with just a 75rwhp tune from danville.

Yep I have seen that a few times in the Quad world! I specialize in rebuilding TRX450R engines and they have oil coolers and they're known for crank failures and I have seen guys rebiuld an engine and or buy a rebuild engine install it and then they have metal shaving in their new engine and cloggs up the Oil filter etc. Basically the new engine is ruined or needs to be torn 100% Down again to be flushed and cleaned!

At least by doing the install, you guys will know the converter is installed all the way in, and lines/cooler flushed out. If I don't fit trans after rebuild, I insist an external cooler is fitted.

So I sent it to the transmission shop and has been a month since I sent it there
And when I call they said Allison factory shot down because of COVID 19
Then they said we will put a rebuild parts
What should I do??????
