TREK X CALIBRE 9 -V- TWRCH TRAIL

New bike day is always a good day - I head to Cwmcarn to test out the new XC racing weapon and for the 1st time in a while am looking forward to the climbs........ The Twrch, this time of year is an ideal test track to get use to the Trek. Technical climbs, fast berms and rough sections will be a good shake down ride.

i have an older trek XC bike, i took a spacer out to extend the travel to 130mm, i felt i need a little bit more travel. the fork is old but well serviced and still in good condition.

Used to ride Cafal and Twrch on my Trek Marlin 7 before it got nicked. Not too bad on those trails, pretty bumpy but managed them alright :)
