yes waves are big, slightly visible🍀😉👍
Im a teacher with quite a stressful job working with children under 6 that have experienced abuse and neglect. I spend Sundays in bed at peace getting ready for the next week. Your show is always a big part of Sunday. Its a like being out in the ocean fishing. I very much appreciate your work. Thank you from Calgary Alberta Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you for the work that you do and have a wonderful day.
Shaking with a spinning rod 😂 Love it. It'll be a wet fly on the salmon rod next!
Not any time soon bud. I’ve not got that kind of time to waste. 🤣
That shark would like a word with the manager lol
🤣🤣
Some great sharks and the underwater shots of the teeny tiny shark were great
He was such a cutie.
bloody hell you have got some balls being out in that I felt rough just watching it 😂😂
Haha. Seasick in your living room. 🤣🤢🌊
Blue Sharks - what a beautiful fish
Stunning aren’t they.
I would love to see you catch a Big Porbeagle! Not sure of my Spelling!😂
Still a JNCC review ongoing mate. Very foolish to make a video targeting them.
@@TheFishLocker Was Unaware of any Restrictions.
@@gradybrowning3976 - I don’t mean this personally to you. But this is part of the problem. Folks don’t put any research in.
You John,, are the best fishing teacher,, all the knowledge you are sharing the best way to catch fish, foraging, that you so very much, I'm 65 and have been fishing since I was 4 , I've learned so many things,, and still do,,
Every day is a school day mate. 😊🦈
🎶When the wind blows we will all go together🎶 !!
💪🏻
Your videos are always relaxing, entertaining and educational, keep up the great work. 😊
Thank you.
Oh dear that did make me feel qeesy. I love the sound of the waves. Thank you for sharing a great shark video🐈🐈🐈
My pleasure Caroline. 😊🎣🦈
I'm SO HAPPY that even you can, ah, feel the motion enough to admit you're queasy. Me? Not bad but certainly not impervious.
I’m the same. It’s not often but occasionally I do feel it. 🤢
I see you've had a good session them rollers were on the large size 👍
Aye there was a few good sets in there
great video john despite the swell keep em coming
Cheers bud.
As a newcomer to boating/sea fishing ( only been twice not caught anything as yet) I think your footage is so educational and encouraging, cracking vids John and I’m learning lots as I go along. Don’t think I’ll be trying shark fishing just yet though unless it’s flat calm .
Best to just take it slow and stick to what your comfortable with mate. Plenty of time to build your knowledge and confidence
What a beautiful start to the day with that backdrop. Great rigs & tips as we've come to appreciate, well done John despite some choppy moments. You nailed it mate, thanks for a enjoyable evening's viewing ☺️
My pleasure bud. Hope you have a good week. 👍🏻🦈
Big tides this week and wind, not a good combination-im sick of it - cannot get out!!!Lovely colours on the shark.
Painful isn’t it. Been a hard year for weather.
@@TheFishLocker Indeed-practically West coast has been a right off -some anglers not getting out in 6 weeks between trips, missing prime summer fishing-its been hit and run with weather making trips difficult-just want to get out for a few mackeral before they bugger off !
That looked like a hard day there.
Worth it though.
Abit up and down on this one but you pulled it off ok. Any shark you get to the boat counts so well done crack on
Aye mate. But sloppy but managed a few nice fish.
Great to see the Blue Shark population is thriving down there. Good session in a lumpy sea, well done mate.
Cheers bud.
great video as per usual John, unusal for you to feel a bit sickly😅
Happens to everyone mate. Usually mine is a result of a long night the day before. 😉
I would of been chuming my guts up all over the side in that 😂
Good on you for getting out mate and wasn’t to bad fishing 👍
Nothing ventured nothing gained mate. 😉🦈
Great footage 😀
Thank you.
Great underwater shot of that little blue John. Love the relaxed presentation.😊
Thanks Mark, simple and honest. That’s what I like to see so it’s what I make.
The weather is that bad here even the ducks won't go out
The weather has been awful all summer, honestly the worst a can remember. We’ve had about 2 good weeks in the UK
It’s been a difficult year for weather. I’ve just had to make sure I take every single opportunity - even when it’s rough like this.
Good to see young sharks coming through.. X
Very good to see.
As always brilliant...amongst a million other things whats amazing about this channel is the different species and fish i would never get to catch.. I'm used to flounder whiting cod coalie so watching this is brilliant cheers appreciated 👍
My pleasure bud.
Thank you for a great video John. They really are a beautiful colour. Thanks for taking us along. 👍👍
It is my pleasure my friend.

Dang John, those blues are really beautiful!
Stunners aren’t they. 😊🦈
Brilliant video my friend!!! Beautiful blue fish and a couple for the table. Great day!!!

Another smashin video John, I've been fascinated with sharks since I was a boy. There dangerous but absolutely stunning creatures...(tight lines mate)
Me too. 🦈
That underwater filming of small blue shark was really something. Beautiful creature.
Wonderful looking little guy wasn’t it.
Another great watch John, some lovely blue shark as well.
Stunning fish aren’t they.
Another great video Thanks John! 🎉
My pleasure bud.
Your videos bring me great joy. Thank you John.
Thank you John.
I know David beckhams got golden ones but you must have steel ones seen that swell scary but amazing fishing video love fishing myself mostly course but done a sea fishing trip out in Wales everyone was sick including the captain was rough then too caught a few doggy and Gurnard but was glad when we got back too shore great videos mate and great conservationist truly one of England's greatest anglers well done👍
I am glad you are enjoying the vids bud. Even if the Horizon was a bit wobbly. 🤣🌊
Wow! John that swell would have frightened the .... out of me! It's good to see even the best sailors can get a little queasy. Superb underwater shots, more please. Thank you for such a great video again. Stay safe.
Aye mate, sloppy days like that take their toll on everyone. Usually my downfall is the long night before. 🤣🤢
another excellent session as always, absolutely loved it
Thanks bud.
Excellent vid as usual.
Cheers Richard.
Interesting, informative and inspiring, thanks JL.
Glad you think so mate. 👍🏻🦈
Another superb video John .

Super educational; inspirational and adventurous stuff John. Thanks! ❤
Thanks Kieran.
Awesome yet again John, that's a very lumpy sea ,I would be chucking up (call me chuckey) all the bet 2 u & family. Happy catching from Australia Nick
Thank you Nick, best wishes to you and yours mate.
Always a pleasure John. Best of luck. God Bless you and the Family!
Thanks mate. Best wishes to you and your family 😊🦈
Always love the shark videos. Blues are stunning looking creatures. That swell must have been bad, I was starting to feel it through my laptop!
Haha. It was very sloppy.
Brilliant to see lots of smaller fish on another great post. I have watched a number of other small boat channels, but yours for the in depth detail and sharing of your knowledge is second to none.
Thank you.
For you to say you was feeling it a bit it must if been really challenging conditions. But like you say it's when you look down and try and do stuff and the camera never dose it justice. And yet you still smashed it your a top top Angler mate a joy to watch. Tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
Some days you just have to put on your big boy pants and get on with it. 🤣🦈
Good trip again john
Cheers mate.
Another great vid , everyone loves a shark video
I know I do. I love my shark fishing. 😊🦈
Yeah that swell would have been rite on my limit John, at least some blues were hungry that day mate, made the trip worthwhile. cheers bud appreciate your efforts 👍🏼👍🏼
It’s not the size of the swell, it’s the frequency that makes it dangerous. This was ok. Just uncomfortable.
Great video again thanks John. The sea was too rough for me mate Lol. Some nice sharks to tag. Couple of nice Pollack for fillets!! All the best Graham
Aye mate. Sloppy but did the business. The only thing really to do in those conditions.
Fantastic video again mate thanks 😊
Cheers Henry.
Hi John that was a great video I was only feeling 30% till your blog popped up clicked on and wow many thanks for that just what I needed 90% now boat fishing was what I loved in my younger years great take care. 😊
Glad to have improved your day mate.
Another spot on video John really enjoy these
Thanks mate.
Excellent day out John. That swell looked rough and impressive with the sun glinting on the sea. 👍
I do enjoy it when the day has some motion in it. Maybe just not that much. 🤣🤢
Memories of Delaware Bay in the mid 60's in a 21' Whirlwind. Sand sharks mostly. My dad and I mostly. Thanks for these videos. They sure take me back
Glad to remind you of a happy time.
Always a blessing John you've upd my fishing game so much your inspiration to everyone and I'd quite happily place you in the same level of Jeremy wade with the way your going keep up all the amazing work and effort your putting out 💪🦈
Thank you very much George. I am simply sharing what I know and love doing my friend.
WHOA, John! My grandma would go Nuckin Futs at the mackerel you snagged at the start of this video! She was a fisher thru & thru!(Tho, Not from a boat, STRICTLY shore casting!)-lol....WOW! A-L-O-H-A from Hawaii
They were great sized mackerel weren’t they. 😊🎣
@@TheFishLocker ....Looks to be, 2-3#, maybe? After cleaning/de-boning, Gram would mix & mash in a bowl w/her hands(Hawaiians call it lomi-lomi) add S&P, scallions, sweet round onion, roasted candle nut(kukui), 1/4c water, cover w/kitchen towel/plate & let sit on a counter....VOILA! That was her/grandkids snack!-lol. Being oldest grandchild, was Always spoiled by her!-LOL. That's Why I like your channel, Mr. Fish Locker....MEMORIES!...A-L-O-H-A/Mahalo from Hawaii
Another great video john look forward to your videos. Love the amount of information you share with us keep it mate 👍
My pleasure Tom.
@TheFishLocker I sent you a message through Facebook regarding a boat I know your a busy man just have so many questions
Thanks agIn john for a most enjoyable video.
My pleasure bud
Brilliant video 🎣🎣
Thank you.
Beautiful colour them blue sharks. Thank you 👍
My pleasure.
Excellent video John, a good day giving the conditions you had, keep uo the good work mate. Looking forward to the next one 🎣
Aye mate, it was as I’d expected. Very sloppy. 🌊🤢 Few fish though so I enjoyed myself. 😉🦈
Weird how people commented when you only posted 23sec ago 🤔 I'm I missing something 😕
@@MrRiverspider - Yes. The channel patrons have early access to help me proof watch content and plan things.
Another excellent video, you have some Balls to go solo with that swell on.
Big ones 😉
Love the boat fishing videos John 👍 but I haven't seen any shore fishing videos in a long time. Would be great if you could film some videos on shore 👊
The problem with shore videos is there are some local nuggets who get really pissy about me showing fishing marks. Not worth the hassle for me to deal with the bitching.
I love Cornwall but glad I'm not Cornish 🤣🤣 sharing a mark is like sleeping with there wife down here isn't it 😂
Well worth braving the conditions. It never ceases to amaze me how many sharks there are about in your waters. To support that many apex predators it must be a very healthy ecosystem.
It’s very heartening to see isn’t it.
@@TheFishLocker Yes.
Two Boisterous as sea for me Hi amazing thanks John
It wasn’t too bad. At least it was sunny. 😉
On it John 😊👍🏻
💪🏻🦈
@@TheFishLocker The Blue Shark is absolutely stunning. My favourite
@@alexpage7292 - Beautiful aren’t they
Excellent as normal but I felt sick with the swell nice sharks though x
Haha. It was a bit sloppy 🌊🤢
Out with Andy Thursday/Friday for species, weather's looking decent. Congratulations on another cracking video keep them coming 👍
Good luck. 👍🏻🦈
Great video John, hope you're well 🏴👍
Thanks mate, yes we’re all good here.
See you had a swell day John, but some nice blues anyway. And well done for tagging so many. This will yield some valuable data over time. Stay safe mate!
I had hoped to tag 50 this year. Weathers not made that easy.
Yes, mother nature has a lot to answer for this year. She has curtailed my boat fishing quite a bit this year...to the point where I wonder why I still have one.
Great channel John I always watch your videos! I am off carp fishing down Yorkshire today with a friend for 48 hours can’t wait! 🎣
Good luck mate.
@@TheFishLocker thank you
Really cool when you brought the shark aboard. Lucky it wasn't bigger
I can lift them aboard up to around 100lb. Any bigger than that and it’s not really safe in a boat my size
Im bored of sharks tbh, i like wreck fishing more, always a bit of mystery size and what kind of fish, but i do respect you as you privately advised me on rods through messaging. Top man
As I said in this video. The conditions were no good for wreck fishing or anchoring.
Well done John, stuck at it in that swell and was rewarded with a good few fish 🦈 to tag for future reference. Those blueys colours are stunning in the sunlight
Take care mate
Jason
Beautiful coloured fish aren’t they.
Great session John
Aye mate. But sloppy but worth it.
@@TheFishLocker At 8ft and 6 seconds I'd have spent the day hanging over the side adding to the chum.
Great days sharing but that was rough.
Haha. Wasn’t too bad. 🤣
Awsome fish John. would love a 1 on 1 shark fishing trip for my birthday next year make it a trip to cornwall🐟🎣 have you seen any wild Whales while fishing?
Just stay in touch with me in the Fishlocker Fb page mate.
Another good fishing trip jon lad , , you must take me out 1 day on your boat next time im in cornwall , such an experienced & knowledgeable human fisher person you are .
Send me a PM on the Fishlocker Fb page mate.
Eazy john you ok pal, it did look a wee ruff out there hahaha. All the best from GRIMSBY
It was a bit lumpy mate
After a week here in the U.S. that I can only call "Political Jabberwocky", it's nice to see a relaxing fishing video from you. Though I don't always comment it always makes my day to see one of your videos. Shame the rest of the world can't just solve their problems by casting a line into the water with a good brew(be that brew beer, tea, or coffee, truth be told a good black coffee or a nice strong tea are my true favorites).
That shark you got right at the 25 min. mark is a beauty. Those guys make me think of the fox I have living in the woods near me. Small(for a shark), smart, fast and wily. Beautiful animals, both the shark and fox.
As always, amazing video and can't wait to see more!
I don’t see much other than what it showing whilst I am walking past or what I overhear of the radio about your countries political situation. But it does seem to be strange
class fishing . ty for sharing
My pleasure.
hi john have you watched FISHING SALCOMBE good watch i found the channel by accident i was so shocked that is my old warrior boat great video jon
Which is your warrior mate?
Awsome 👌
Just getting after it mate. 🦈
nice to see some decent mackerel being caught hasn't been very many about this year i fish near beer devon
It’s been a difficult one here.
John thank you so much, I love Blue shark steaks on the BBQ, greetings from a very windy Cyprus, 6 Beaufort!! 🐟🐟🐟🐟😎😎
I am told they are very good.
That looked like you were working hard. Rewards were justified. Good vid. Many thanks
Yes mate. Some days are harder than others. 👍🏻🌊🦈
was in the canadian navy for 20 yrs i feel your illness lol
Haha. I don’t get sick often, but it’s no fun when I do. 🤣🤢
I know those swells weren't fun for you, but wow, the ocean is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Take care, be well
It wasn’t a bad day, uncomfortable but it was fun.
HI John...well i would class that whole outing as a success, you got everything you set out for....(that swell was not nice) but congratulations with those SHARKS...and i agree with you....the blue is beautiful on them...hope you didn't get too "Ropey" ( i woulda been shouting" huey n rolf" all the time) ha ha...take care m8 all the best to you n yours, Gordon.
Haha. It was a bit of a lumpy day out there wasn’t it. 🤣🌊
That was a superb session, takes a hard head to do those sessions and i imagine filming in that sort of sea state is worse aswell, alot of effort put into that one i think, great content John, thanks for sharing that with us all, couldnt have been an easy one
You are right mate.
Yesssir love your vids
Thanks bud
All those mackerel. Jim would have field day cooking
Jim could make anything delicious 😉👍🏻
Twenty years ago I was addicted to pirking fishing for Cod off Eastbourne on the wrecks and my friend and I went to a wedding reception which finished at 2 am. The next day it was perfect for fishing, although that's what we thought, and my friend was sensible not to drink the night before, numbnuts here however didn't and I was plastered. Anyway, after we had very little sleep as we had a 5 am start, I spent most of the day 'groundbaiting' or trying to sleep it off in the bulkhead bed in 6' swells. First time and last time I drunk before a fishing trip. 😂😂🤮
Lesson learned.
Great video mate , I would have been sending my own chunder chum down in them swells lol ….
🤣🤢
Maybe they were following hoping you would get dropped in by the swell, looking for a change from fish
🤣🤣
I still find it amazing how big an oil slick is produced by that little chum bag?another good if somewhat stomach turning days fishing😂tight lines from BIGMICK IN HULL 👍
Just shows a little oil goes a long way doesn’t it.
