I have 2 1970 Challengers and a 2010. The tail lights on the 2010 mimic the 70’s. Much better than the new ones which they tried to make look like 1971
I think you did a great job. It actually looks really legit I personally think the 2006 to 2012 tail lights just looks so much like the old school though they look so much cooler. But you got to do what you like. It looks great man
its kinda how it was in the 70s the taillights and grilles were interchangeable for 70-71 its a good option to have if one caR IS Wrecked makes it a easy fix i like both models i plan to own atleast 3 more challengers in my life preferably 2010-2014 for my next since i daily a v6 2021

Car came black from manufacture but you can get your car wrapped in gloss black which would probably be like 2k, compared to a full paint job which would be like 3-4K. And I just have a full straight pipe, no cats no nothing

Im installing the same vland lights. The backpanel which comes from oem lights gives me problem. When im putting new lights back to car, upper panel dont fit good. It stays 3mm too far. Do not go all the way in
You don't need to make any modification so that they fit into their bases it's just removing and putting my car it's a 2012 and I want to make the convertion

Im laughing at the bmw joke, but it was fairly simple to remove the rear trim and wire my rear camera in my E92. Actually my European cars have been the easiest to work on 😅
They aren’t bright in the sun huh? I have the smoked pair and the brake light and turn signal aren’t bright. They look good at night and decent in the shade. These are cheap quality but I like the look even though like you said they don’t fit 100% perfect, even on mine. I did notice though my sequential turn signal is yellow and yours are red I believe.

This is a lot of work. They should have given you harness plug and play. It looks good but I like older lights. It's long. On mine I put black smoke acrylic cover. It solved the problem. No Body can tell if it was older model.
These are the worst taillights in the world. I bought 2 pairs of them. They BOTH cracked withen months. Waste of 1,200 bucks. I bought 2015 and up mopar light set and installed them. Looks real and not cheap like these VLAND.

I like the 08-10 tail lights. Truer to the look of the 70's Challenger.
I love the older models rear lights lens so much more than the new ones.
If you enjoy cheesy lights sure. The new LEDs are so much cleaner.

The older style lights look amazing with a tint stripe kit, personally I prefer that look over the newer style
