Illumination has a great future. For years no other Illuminations movie could compare to the Despicable Me franchise in terms of success. But that all changed with the Super Mario movie. Both Disney and Dreamworks are not in a good situation. So there isn't that much competition

I agree that Despicable Me 4 could become the best installment in that franchise from Illumination, we'll just have to wait and see about that. I'm really looking forward to watching it in a theater this summer with my parents to see all of what will happen in it. I hope that they will show Dru and the minions who left with him to fill up the cliff-hanger from the third movie of him going to do some villian stuff with those minions then Gru saying to Lucy that because he is his brother they would give him a 5 minutes head start before going after him. There should either be an explaination about it in this fourth movie, or an animated short film be made about that situation that those characters were in, so that the whole fanbase won't stay confused about it anymore because of this time-skip.

I have a prediction where dr nefro is and idk if i was the only one who only noticed but i have 3 so 1.
So i think that sense we didn't see dr nefro in the trailer so he could have passed away even though it's a movie .
2. He could be still Frozen but i think they could have unmelted him.
3. He could be in the novie still but just not in the trailer.
The allegations against Russel Brand were made back in September so I would like to think the actors were doing the voice work by then. I don't think he was every found innocent or guilty yet so in theory they wouldn't sack him over just allegations.
