I think the most of the people cared about Chuck but they had no choice because there was walkers everywhere and they couldn't get to Chuck and he told them to run as fast as they can so they did
"and seeing another little girl die, might just do me in," then he ended up basically doing himself in for the sake of that very same little girl's life. i dont think ive ever liked a minor walking dead character more than chuck, from any of the 4 seasons
Hearing these individual tracks just makes me want an official soundtrack for sale all the more. Some many great bits of music that I just want on my iPod on the go.
Chuck made me remember an earlier character you met back in episode one that gives you probably the most important advice you could get (minus Chuck's that is). "You gotta stop worrying over things you can't control."
I miss playing this on the Xbox 360 on school night. Just the sheer joy from the music, the fun times. I'm gonna download it again on my pc and play it all over again.
Chuck... Ahh Chuck, what can you say about Chuck? Idunno, he's a better character than many of the people who were around longer than him, think about it, Lily, Larry, Duck (although I kinda got attached to duck), Katjaa, and others, I found Chick to be one of the coolest characters in this game
I have to disagree with the below comment about how Kenny was never a dick just to be a dick. Before Lilly lost her mind and was merely butting heads with Kenny, he tried to leave her behind to get eaten by zombies. (His dialogue of "Just leave her" kinda tips this off.) At the end, unless you kiss his ass just right, he decides not to help rescue Clementine, an innocent 9 year old, from a predator. He literally refuses to help rescue her, just to spite Lee. Think about that. Can you imagine any other character in the game doing that, including the hated Larry or Lilly? Honestly, it's much easier to defend Ben as someone who "means well" but messes things up, than Kenny, who does things out of spite throughout the game.
RTribble The two things are not mutually exclusive. It's possible for two entirely separate parties to make hard-to-justify decisions. An argument could be made that they're being selfish as well, and it doesn't have to negate the premise that Kenny is an ass. (Although I think their reasoning for refusing to help was presented in a less petty way than Kenny's.) On the other hand, Kenny had literally been living with Lee and Clementine for months by then. Clementine was friends with his son. And throughout that time, no matter the choices of the player, Lee had made a lot of sacrifices for the Kenny clan, making Kenny's spiteful refusal all the more ridiculous. Conversely, Christa and Omid had only known Lee/Clementine for a few days by then.
WastedPo I think that's bad writing, actually. Seeing how Kenny is the type of character who would die for the safety of family, even if he despises Lee (which he did in my playthrough, just because I didn't help him kill Larry) he would no doubt agree to help find Clementine since he consider her family. However, that whole situation is built on showing the consequences of the player's choices throughout the game, which is why Omid and Christa can also refuse to look for the child despite it being out of character for them. Personally I think that scene is kind of ridiculous, seeing how they can also refuse if Lee doesn't show his bite. But concerning Kenny, he later on shows remorse for how he's treated Lee, apologizes and is clearly disturbed by the fact that Lee will soon be dead. It doesn't excuse his previous behavior, but it at least feels realistic to his personality.
RIP Chuck was nice to see Clem enjoying his music for a bit...lol also it was funny af when Christa said "Who the hell is even into Civil war history anyway besides old white guys" lmaoooo then Lee slowly raises his hand
Well...In episode 4 I kind of expected Cuck to die. I mean he was left there to fight the zombies just to protect Clem and a group he just get to know and there is not such thing as a heroic come back in this universe because it is realistic. That makes him a great guy even thought we did not have the opportunity to know him better. He helped Clem in many ways he gave advices...I did not expect to be so shocked though. It was so sad that he died like a dog there...
Kenny came back heroic and also Lee did in S2EP5 and S4EP3 and i know you gonna say it was just a flashback but i feel like that was the true Lee standing beside Clementine and guiding her
A little. He did give Lee good advice, though, and I think Chuck's statement proved to be a turning point in Clementine's character-- she was sheltered before, but after Lee embraced that she might have to be autonomous one day.
No one ever expects to have to teach an eight year-old child to shoot and kill and survive on their own, no matter the circumstances. That's just so outside our expectations it doesn't occur to most people. That Chuck realized things were different shows the kind of person he is, but Lee's not a bad person or an idiot for not realizing it. I, for one, did not even think of it until Chuck brought it up either.
The part you got the train to work, but got stuck, because there is a truck filled with diesel in the way. Before you check out the station, you have the option to talk to Christa. a fair point but he could have easily made it back to Lee and everyone because he wasn't exactly surrounded by a crowd, right? I think this game is sometimes still in a testing phase. It's good, but I think it still has room for improvement.
I agree, though I don't know about Kenny being likeable. To me, he was a bastard ever since I refused to kill Larry. Still, he was one of my favourite characters. Characters you love to hate, you know what I mean? That was, however, not the case with Molly, I just hated her period. Too good at everything, bad-mouthed when the situation didn't call for it, violent as fuck and extremely selfish.
That's what I'm saying, every character acted very believable, perhaps the only instance where that was not the case was when Kenny died when you didn't kill Ben. That scene didn't make too much sense.
It was not a reasonable action to let Lee die at the hands of Danny St. John just because he didn't help Kenny kill Larry. Kenny's actions all were believable, but at times he was a nasty bastard.

Chuck actually played a very important role. You could say he made it capable for Lee and Clementine to survive together.

His whole family died... twice! Imagine losing everyone you've ever loved, and not being bitter or resentful. Kenny pulls through in the end, I think.
Amelia Kaminski He talks about the events in the first game not the second.(SPOILER AHEAD!) His whole family is not dead in the first game.
So I guess Christa and Omid were heartless dicks just to be dicks too, since they initially refuse to help Clem as well(if Lee hides his bite)?
